  • AutoWeek gets its own Forza 3 Car Show Pack, where’s the love?

    Forza Motorsport 3 will soon feature an add-on car pack featuring ten rides handpicked by the scribes at AutoWeek. Apparently, it took two podcasts worth of deliberations to settle on the finalists, but the AutoWeek Show Car Pack bundles the 2009 Audi R8 LMS, Audi RS 6, Lotus 2-Eleven, 2010 Aston Martin One-77, BMW Motorsport M6 Coupe, Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, Shelby GT500, Pagani Zonda R, Porsche Boxster S, and the almost imaginary Saleen S5S Raptor.

    The pack comes online January 12, and you can get it for 400 MS points on Xbox Live. We’d like to take this moment to invite Forza to create an Autoblog Car Show Pack. We’ll start with the Gumpert Apollo and Caterham CSR, and you readers can let the developers know which cars you’d like to see in comments. Turn10, check’s in the mail. Promise.

  • Togo| Masseville – Masséda Project – 10,000 capacity stadium

    Hi guys,

    I’m looking for information on the Masséda Project in Masseville, Togo.

    It was a construction project that included a 10,000 seater stadium in a small village in the middle of nowhere. It was lead by Tata Avlessi, the Togo FA president.

    The village isn’t even on Google maps:

    It’s probably about time!

    Now that I’m sold on the mechanics..and with the idea of tubeless pumping..i’m just trying to get my head around the costs.

    Hoy por hoy, Mèxico es uno de los paises que estàn produciendo mayor cantidad y calidad de talentos en Arquitectura y Diseño de Interiores . . y me parece que el fenòmeno aùn no alcanza su climax . .

    Ello justifica el presente thread, el cual inicia con 10 promesas de la arquitectura nacional, segùn la revista OBRAS.

    Sin embargo podemos añadir info e imàgenes de otros despachos de Arquitectura o Diseño de Interiores, cuyas principales caracterìsticas sean la juventud ( menos de 40 años ) y la calidad . . .

    Asi que les invito a participar, pues uno de los principales temas de este foro, debe ser la arquitectura . . :cheers:

    Zakładam nowy wątek , gdyż doszłem do wniosku że takowego tu brakuje. W dziesiątkach postów we wszelakich wątkach nieustannie trwają zacięte walki na słowa i argumenty , które miasto jest w tym czy tamtym lepsze, a które gorsze. Potem sypią sie bany i brigi za dyskusje nie na temat. Wychodząc naprzeciw tym problemom zakładam ten oto wątek. Ma on na celu m.i.n obalenie stereotypów, które w wielu przypadkach już dawno się zdeaktualizowały.

    Dyskutujmy o tym kto ma jaki potencjał gospodarczy czy turystyczny , które miasto jest najbardziej proekologiczne, gdzie jest najlepszy design, kto może pochwalic sie najbardziej wyszukaną architekturą, a kto zasługuje na miano miasta 3 ciego świata. Gdzie najlepiej sie żyje a gdzie lepiej po zmroku nie wychodzi na ulice. Które miasto inwestuje w najnowsze technologie a które zatrzymało sie w zeszłej epoce. Szukajmy zagranicznych odpowiedników naszych miast. Kto jest Polskim Bilbao a kto odpowiednikiem Kalkuty.

    To wszystko powyżej to oczywiście tylko przykłady, liczę na waszą kreatywnośc i rozsądne wnioski najlepiej poparte wiarygodnymi źródłami, jak i również fotografiami, mogą byc własego dzieła.

    Więc może ja zaczne:)

    Kielce miasto przez wielu uważane za mocno zaniedbane, szare, bure , jednym słowem nie do życia.
    Wielu z was zaskocze ale nie jest wcale tutaj tak źle. Miasto powoli wyrasta na potentata targowego na skale ogólnopolską, celem jest aby w przyszłosci stac sie liczacym ośrodkiem targowym w europie, co wcale nie jest nieniemożliwe. Pozatym istnieje stereotyp że wieje jak w kieleckiem, co całkowicie mija się z prawdą ,siła wiatru nie odbiega od średnich norm polskich, a obsławiony już wietrzny dworzec jest do dzis perełką architektoniczną na tle pozostałych dworców w PL, swego czasu był najnowocześniejszy w całej Europie.
    Główny deptak miasta ul Sienkiewicza w ogólnopolskim plebiscycie została uznana na najpiękniejszy deptak. Nasz stadion do dziś uchodzi za najnowocześniejszy i najbardziej zachodnioeuropejski (nie licząc stadionów w budowie) Miasto sukcesywnie poprawia infrastrukture, budżet na ten rok przekroczył rekordowy 1 mld zł, co jak na niespełna 200 tys. miasto robi wrażenie. W niedługim czasie powstanie lotnisko co powinno przyśpieszyc dalszy rozwój miasta, które niesprawiedliwie oceniane jest bardzo negatywnie praktycznie pod każdym aspektem. Samo położenie miasta wśród otaczających go dookoła Gór Świętokrzyskich czyni go wyjątkowym, widoki panoramy miasta nocą z pobliskich gór zapierają dech w piersiach, szkoda że nie mam zdjęc ale to dlatego że nie posiadam odpowiedniego sprzętu by to pokazac.Może któryś z forumowiczów mnie wyręczy.
    Mam nadzieję że obaliłem większosc stereotypów co do Kielc, czekam na komentarze odnośnie Kielc jak i pozostałych polskich miast.

  • 22,000 Acer Laptops Recalled [Recalls]

    The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued recalls on Acer’s AS3410, AS3410T, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ, and AS3810TZG laptops, all 13.3″ models, due to bad internal wiring of the microphone. Apparently three incidents of short circuiting have been reported, causing the laptop’s plastic cases to melt.
