Shia LaBeouf will support U.S.VETS by racing in the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday March, 21.

The Wall Street 2 actor will join thousands of L.A. joggers to help bring attention to the nation’s lead nonprofit organization providing services to veterans in need.

The race begins at Dodgers Stadium and winds for 26.2 miles through the city, wrapping up in Santa Monica.

“We are delighted and grateful to have Mr. LaBeouf participate in the marathon on our behalf,” says U.S.VETS President and CEO Dwight Radcliff. “Shia’s father is a Vietnam veteran and running the marathon is a significant way to honor his father’s service and the military service of others.”

Alec Baldwin’s had a tough day and he’s in no mood for tomfoolery from the shutterbugs.

Baldwin lost his shit in an incident with a photographer outside a New York City restaurant earlier today. The NYPD tells The Insider that a photographer grabbed the arm of the 30 Rock star which prompted a fired-up Alec to run outside and grab the pap’s arm right back. (Sticks out tongue….)

Alec don’t play that…No arrests were made.

The actor’s strained relationship with his 14-year-old daughter Ireland was in the news again on Thursday. The actor allegedly threatened to take sleeping pills after the two argued in Baldwin’s Central Park West apartment, prompting the frightened teen to call the authorities. Alec was temporarily hospitalized and later released.

The former husband of comedienne/TV personality Sherri Shepherd is livid that the star of ABC’s The View can’t seem to stop telling the world that he’s a manwhore.

Funny, because he sure doesn’t seem offended when he’s cashing those hefty alimony checks….

Jeff Tarpley was married to Sherri for eight years before he was exposed as a “cheetah” by his then-pregnant mistress. Sherri, who was also pregnant at the time, promptly dropped the loser and made him the punchline to nearly all of her bad jokes. She even hired my childhood crush Malcolm Jamal Warner to play a character based on Tarpley on her Lifetime comedy, Sherri.

Go figure.

Five years after the affair, Jeff believes the time has come for Sherri to “move on” and quit bad-mouthing him in public. The slimmed-down celeb is under fire from Tarpley, who’s fuming that she constantly blabs about him to the gals of The View….and to anyone else who’ll listen.

Tarpley has sent an open letter to his ex-wife, begging her to put a lid on it for the sake of their 4-year-old son, Jeff Jr.

“….Sherri Shepherd, to whom I was married for 8 years and have an amazing son with, has openly discussed and distorted details of our marriage for close to six years following our break-up. To this very day, my name is consistently dragged through the mud at her every opportunity. Sherri, don’t you think it’s time to move on?” Jeff writes.

Although Jeff says he receives daily calls from friends who alert him to snippy remarks Sherri’s made about him on the show, the hostess allegedly lavishes the ex with extravagant gifts:

“What’s shocking is that despite her steady stream of negative comments about me, and inaccurate portrayal of me on her Lifetime sitcom, I still receive gifts from her. Most recently, she sent me a Kevin Garnett Celtics jersey. Are these gifts a way of making her public accusations about me okay? It’s not that simple. My happiness and peace of mind cannot be bought. The only gift I want is for Sherri to move on with her life and stop using her talk show, her sitcom and national magazines to destroy my reputation…..” Tarpley adds.

“I’ve owned up to the mistakes I’ve made and I never claimed to be perfect. All I ask is that that she no longer dwell on the past; and instead, let’s move on with our lives while providing our son the best possible care.”

Music legend Dolly Parton suffered a vicious bout with depression that nearly drove her to suicide once she realized she was pre-menopausal and had waited too late to have children naturally with hubby Carl Dean.

The country star, 64, says she seriously thought about taking her life during that stormy period in the mid-’80s.

“I think I would have made a nice mama. I always thought I’d have kids. We tried to for so many years, and then I put it on hold because my career was doing so well and I was on birth control pills,” Dolly reveals in the Feb. 22 issue of Globe. “I went through a dark time – it lasted several months. Then one day, I just said to myself, ‘Right, get off your fat butt, or if you really are suicidal, then go and shoot your brains out.’”

In the years since, the “9 To 5″ singer has come to terms with the sadness of not having kids. Dolly believes that working with children’s charities has helped a lot in filling the void: “I thought, ‘Maybe God didn’t want me to have kids so that everybody else’s kids could be mine.”

Sure glad we didn’t lose our Dolly!

Lorenzo Martone, the longtime boyfriend of Marc Jacobs, has confirmed that he wed the famed fashion designer while the two vacationed in St. Barts during the holidays. The couple, who had been dating since 2008, announced their engagement last March. The marriage isn’t official yet because the couple still has to sign wedding documents, but Martone, 30, tells Butt Magazine (Butt?!) that he and Marc tied the knot at a friend’s home on New Year’s Day.

“In the end, we just had an intimate ceremony at a friend’s house with people who were already on the island,” he says. “Although the official wedding documents won’t be signed till later this year, so legally we’re not married yet,” Martone adds.

Jacobs, 46, has not commented.

Caught on Tape: Some Crazy went bonkers in an suburban Atlanta Wal-Mart this week and smashed 29 flat screen TVs. “Police have arrested a man for smashing 29 televisions at a Georgia Wal-Mart,” The Associated Press writes. “Authorities say the man grabbed a metal baseball bat from the sporting goods section before walking to the electronics aisle where he started swinging.”

Westley Strellis, 23, of Lawrenceville, caused $22,000 in damage in his smashing spree. Police aren’t sure what caused the fracas, but note that Strellis is being treated for depression.

Another irrelevant celeb is sprouting off at the mouth in a new magazine interview. The Ghost of Relationships Past is coming back to bite Jon Gosselin in the butt. Ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman, 23, slams Gosselin and his private parts in a sex-charged chat with the new issue of Steppin’ Out Magazine.

“He was so small I didn’t think he would cheat on me,” the 23-year-old chuckles. ”He’s hung like a nine-year-old boy. I’m serious. This is true.”

Glassman began dating the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star in June shortly after his wife Kate Gosselin filed for divorce. They later split and Jon accused Hailey of trashing the Manhattan penthouse the former couple once shared.

Apparently, Glassman isn’t over almost being tossed in jail because of her ex. She claims the father of eight measured in “3 inches” — a fact that provided lots of laughs for Hailey and her mom.

“It’s very noticeable. It’s so tiny, tiny, tiny,” she says.

Glassman even claims Gosselin admitted to being self-conscious about his size: “I would tell him to his face, ‘I don’t think you would cheat on me because you’re so small.’ I would tell him that all the time,” she adds.

Universal Pictures and the screenwriters who brought us Legally Blonde and The Twilight Saga are developing a big budget remake of the 1982 movie musical The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, which starred Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds. Screenwriters Karen McCulluh and Kirsten Smith have been tipped to rewrite the script and plot to the cinema classic, which featured Dolly’s ballad “I Will Always Love You.”

Whorehouse debuted as a hit stageplay in 1978.

This just in: Former President Bill Clinton has been hospitalized in New York City, ABC News is reporting.

Clinton, 63, was admitted to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan after complaining of discomfort in chest on Thursday afternoon. ABC News sources say the former Commander-In-Chief is being treated for a condition related to a preexisting heart condition and is reportedly receiving a pair of stents to open one of his coronary arteries.

Clinton underwent a quadruple bypass surgery in 2004.

The former president’s counselor Douglas Band released a statement saying that Clinton is in “good spirits” and looking forward to making a full recovery:

“Today President Bill Clinton was admitted to the Columbia Campus of New York Presbyterian Hospital after feeling discomfort in his chest. Following a visit to his cardiologist, he underwent a procedure to place two stents in one of his coronary arteries,” Band said. “President Clinton is in good spirits and will continue to focus on the work of his Foundation and Haiti’s relief and long-term recovery efforts.”

The Real Housewives of New York City’s Kelly Killoren Bensimon is nude in Playboy’s March issue. The model-turned-reality star is posing nude for the first time in a six-page pictorial shot by her ex-husband, Elle Magazine Executive Director Gilles Bensimon.

Kelly, who describes the spread as “fashion forward,” said she’s posing in the fleeting men’s mag to prove that fortysomethings can be hotties too.

“When Playboy asked me to pose for them, I was incredibly flattered. But it was a big deal for me to actually take off my clothes for the rest of the world. I’m thrilled to be appearing in Playboy to show the world that a 41-year-old mother of two can be sexy!” said Kelly, who has two daughters — daughters Sea, 11, and Teddy, 9.

Kelly also notes that she had a great time working with her ex.

“It was a wonderful experience to work with Gilles – one of the world’s most-talented fashion photographers – as I knew that he would make me look beautiful and sexy. I’ve never posed naked before. John Mayer may be “quitting media” after his use of the N word in a Playboy interview hit the Net on Wednesday, but the musician hasn’t managed to stop people from talking about the debacle. The ladies of The View had a Field Day — at Mayer’s expense — tackling the tough issue on this morning’s show.

The Fashion World is reeling from the sudden loss of Alexander McQueen. McQueen, whose provocative collections made him one of the world’s leading designers, was found hanged in his London home on Thursday in what media is calling an apparent suicide.

The Discovery Channel is in the middle of planning a tribute to Captain Phil Harris. Harris, of Discovery’s hit docu-series Deadliest Catch, died Feb. 9 of complications from a stroke he suffered late last month. He was 53. The cranky but proud captain of the Cornelia Marie was a veteran commercial fisherman.

Harris will be featured prominently in the upcoming sixth season of Deadliest Catch, set to debut on Discovery in April, the network also confirmed.

Lindsay Lohan has missed out on an opportunity to pocket $150,000 because she was too busy shopping to arrive on time for a flight to Europe.

Lohan won’t attend tonight’s famous Vienna Opera Ball as the guest of rich businessman Richard Lugner because she missed her flight out the country, Lugner confirmed to the press today

The alleged hoarder had been the latest in a series of stars to be invited to the annual event by Lugner, but she’ll have to be replaced with another hired escort after failing to board her flight from Los Angeles to London because she lost track of time during a shopping spree.

Lugner claims the British Airways aircraft waited for Lindsay – who was due to get a connecting flight to Vienna – for more than two hours but when she boarded she was asked to leave because she couldn’t afford the $22,000 the carrier charged for having to wait for her arrival.

“She wanted to pay it, but her card’s credit limit was not high enough,” says Luger, 77.
