The sixth season finale of Project Runway is going country.

Country superstar Faith Hill will appear as a special guest judge when the design reality show wraps his current season in April. Faith joined series regulars Nina Garcia, Heidi Klum, and Michael Kors as Project Runway taped its season-ending show on the runway at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, held at Bryant Park, on Friday.

Faith follows a long line of celebrity guests who have appeared as guest judges on Runway over the years, including Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Natalie Portman, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Victoria Beckham.

Avatar’s Zoe Saldana — who is Dominican-American Dominican & Puerto Rican — is weighing in on the lack of racial diversity on the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine’s annual Young Hollywood Issue.

“I feel like we can spend a lot of time bashing our beautiful country, but we don’t give it enough credit,” the first generation American told Access Hollywood at the New York City screening of HBO’s How To Make It In America on Wednesday. The actress says she’s hopeful the media will catch up with the nation’s ever-changing racial makeup. “Our pace might be a little slow and it might not be on par to how we, as American civilians, would like it to be, but it is still an amazing country,” Zoe continued. “So, when I look at magazines like Vanity Fair and Vogue, I know that it’s just a matter of time, the same way Obama took his time and he got to office and became President… it’s just a matter of time until magazines, the media, our art, our culture, our colloquial lifestyle, tags along to our today reality.”

GLAAD, The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, is asking embattled crooner John Mayer to apologize for using an anti-gay slur (You know the one I mean…..) in his controversial interview with the March issue of Playboy.

Have we learned nothing from the cautionary tale that is Isaiah Washington?

Mayer made headlines on Wednesday, when Playboy.com posted a profane chat in which the star managed to insult African-Americans by using the N-word, dissed Black women as potential sexual partners by comparing his penis to White racist David Duke, and revealed waaayy too much information about his sex life with dim-witted ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson — who the singer branded “sexual napalm.”

The douchenozzle also flipped the finger to the gay community with his use of “The Other F-word.” Mayer used the word while describes his kiss with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton back in 2007. While Mayer hit his Twitter after the story broke to profusely apologize for using the N-word, he’s offered no apologies for the other slur.

And GLAAD isn’t happy about it….

“Just as Mayer indicated in his [Twitter] apology, that he meant no offense in his use of the racist slur, we hope the intent behind his use of the F-word was not malicious. As a public figure with millions of fans, Mayer should be more cognizant of the impact his casual use of both slurs can have,” the organization wrote on their blog on Thursday night. “Everyday, countless LGBT people including LGBT people of color, are subjected to harassment, ridicule and even violence because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. More often than not, this verbal abuse includes the use of hurtful anti-gay and racist slurs such as the two that Mayer used,” he continued. “As a talented musician who has made comments supportive of the LGBT community in the past, we expect more from John Mayer and ask that he apologize.”

GLAAD is asking that supporters launch a Twitter campaign to encourage Mayer to apologize.

Stuff just got real at the Jersey Shore: A nude photo of a brunette woman purported to be Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, of MTV’s breakout reality show Jersey Shore, surfaced online on Friday. A photo anonymously posted on NakedSnooki.com this afternoon shows someone who looks an awful lot like the pint-sized reality star naked and on all fours. Rumors that the potty-mouthed principessa first surfaced online on Feb. 2, when RadarOnline.com claimed to have peeked at extremely graphic images and video of the 22-year-old engaging in various sex acts.

Pop star Lady Gaga paid silent tribute to her friend, designer Alexander McQueen, in a post that appeared on her Twitter page on Thursday. The star posted a photo of herself and Alexander smiling and wrapped up in each others arms just hours after the groundbreaking fashionisto was found dead in his London apartment.

Authorities believe McQueen took his own life.

The show has become an annual tradition during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at the Bryant Park tents.

Madonna’s new school for girls is forcing 200 Malawian villagers out of house and home.

The Malawian government has ordered residents of Chinkhota, a village just outside the capital city of Lilongwe, to get out to make way for a $15 million girls’ school funded by Madonna’s Raising Malawi charity, The Associated Press reports. Madonna — who is the mother of two children adopted from the poor African nation — has already broken ground on the school, which is expected to open early next year.

On Thursday, Lilongwe District Commissioner Charles Kalemba told 200 villagers that the government land some of them have been living on for years has been handed over to Madonna. Kalemba believes the school will be beneficial to the nation’s young people and urged the residents to move.

Kalemba told the Villagers of Chinkhota: “The government allowed you to occupy this land because there was no project yet, but now that Madonna wants to build you a school you have to give way. This school is the future of our children. You are lucky that Madonna has compensated you for your houses, gardens and trees.”

Village head man Binson Chinkhota also wants the villagers to leave. “We have been compensated and this school is a pride for us as it is the future of our children,” the community leader told members of the press on Thursday. The displaced residents have been offered other government land, but the news has still infuriated many.

Anjimile Mtila-Oponyo, who will be principal of Madonna’s still-unnamed institution, says the singer paid the villagers more than 16 million kwacha (about $115,000) to help them start their new lives in new homes.

It’s a been a big week at MTV: Just days ago, the network unveiled a new arsenal of logos, dubbed its “Music Television” tagline, and unveiled the latest dates and locations for its two biggest annual award shows.

On Wednesday, the network announced that it will be holding both the MTV Movie and the Video Music Awards in the Los Angeles area this year. The movie awards will air live from Universal City, Calif., on June 6. The Video Music Awards, held last year in New York City, will air live from LA Sept. 12.

Alas, everything Taylor Swift touches does not turn to gold. Swift has been blasted by an environmental agency for feeding possums. The “Fearless” singer – who is currently on tour in Australia – tried to befriend some Aussie wildlife in a Melbourne park this week and copped a dressing down from the authorities.

“The REAL post-show ‘afterparty’ was at the park in downtown Melbourne where we fed wild Possums! They are SO cute!” Taylor Tweeted Wednesday night, posting a pic of one of the furry critters for fans to see.

The image has since been removed.

The 20-year-old songstress has been criticized by Australian wildlife authorities, who believe her petting session could cause “disruption” to the animals. The Australian Department of Sustainability and Environment was quick to tell her off for messing with marsupials. They issued the following statement late Thursday:

“We know people who feed wild animals often have the best intentions and that it is attractive to tourists who want to interact with Australian wildlife. However, DSE advises people not to feed wild animals… it can disrupt their natural behavior and it can cause some animals to lose their natural fear of people, making them vulnerable to attack…..”

Modeling legends Heidi Klum and Paulina Porizkova will guest star on ABC’s Desperate Housewives. E! News has learned that the supermodels recently inked deals to guest star as themselves on an episode of the series scheduled to air next month. The eppy will see former model Gabby (Eva Longoria Parker) and Angie (Drea De Matteo) running into the catwalk stars during a trip to New York.

Klum is host of Lifetime’s designing reality competition, Project Runway, while Porizkova previously judge America’s Next Top Model.

Oh no! Loretta Long, the actress who has played Susan on Sesame Street for 40 years, has been hospitalized with head injuries and a fractured leg after she was hit by a car in New Jersey this week, according to NJ.com.

The veteran star, who has appeared on the children’s public television classic as Susan Robinson since its premiere in 1969, was crossing Route 130 at Dutch Neck Road in Trenton on Tuesday when she was struck by a vehicle and carried 70 feet.

Loretta, 71, was rushed to nearby Fuld Hospital where she remains hospitalized “in good spirits.”

Rachel Uchitel, one of Tiger Woods’ alleged mistresses, was back in the headlines this week after news broke that her connection to the serial adulterer has led to a gig on Extra.

The syndicated entertainment newsmag is touting Uchitel as its latest correspondent by having the Manhattan nightclub hostess famous for playing with Tiger’s balls interview Bachelor star Jake Pavelka, who opens up about being confronted by former contestants on the “Women Tell All” special.

Angelina Jolie has debunked claims that she’s shopping around the earthquake-devastated nation of Haiti for a new adoptee.

The humanitarian baby collector is in Haiti this week touring refugee camps as part of her UN ambassador role, and according to The Sun she’s already spoken to the country’s president about providing more relief aid and about the possibility of adopting an orphaned child.

The mother of six slammed rumors that she and partner Brad Pitt are looking to add a Haitian to their brood in a chat with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Thursday night.

“I’m always open to children around the world. We’re that kind of a family; Brad and I talk about that,” Angelina answered in the interview airing on Friday. “But that’s not what we’re focusing on at this time, by any means. We’re not here for that.”

The Jolie-Pitts are already the parents of three adopted children: son Maddox is Cambodian, daughter Zahara is from Ethiopia, and son Pax was adopted from Vietnam in 2007.

Lu Wei Kang, a 29-year-old fashion designer from Beijing, has spent the past year creating miniature Gaga-inspired outfits for his Barbie collection, which he’s hoping to market worldwide.

A 29-year-old man with a Barbie collection? It’s true. Kang has recreated miniature versions of the silver headdress Gaga wore to this year’s Grammys and even the red frilled collar she wore when she met the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance in Blackpool.

“Nobody else dresses like Lady Gaga. She’s a fashion leader – just look at her in those amazing wigs, make-up, and outfits. I pay close attention to her music, clothes, glasses and make-up. Every detail makes me love her more and more and I thought it would be fun to make those wigs and outfits for Barbie dolls,” Kang told Britain’s Daily Telegraph this week.

“Right now, I just make dolls for fun but I plan to sell them so more Lady Gaga and Barbie fans can own them. I may sell them via online auctions first and hopefully in shops after that….”
