MTV’s runaway smash Jersey Shore is getting the parody treatment — sort of –on tonight’s edition of CSI: Miami.
The forensic team splits up to investigate three different murders during spring break on the Shore-inspired episode of the CBS drama. There’s even a character named “The Program” — obviously a play on Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s nickname on the popular reality series.

Miley Cyrus has been tapped to co-host this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada.
“I’m so excited to co-host the MuchMusic Video Awards. I can’t wait to get back to Canada and perform for all of my fans. It’s going to be an awesome night!” Miley exclaimed in a release early Monday.
The 17-year-old pop sensation — who recently announced that she will be taking a break from music to focus on dramatic acting full-time — will also be performing at the event.
Last year’s MuchMusic ceremony garnered headlines after celebrity gossiper Perez Hilton was decked in the face after a well-publicized faceoff with Will.i.am and the manager of the Black Eyed Peas.
More performers, presenters, and celebrity guests will be announced at a later date — and hopefully, this year’s ceremony will go down without anyone being led away in handcuffs!

“The pair have recorded the song and it’s being discussed as either the main theme or to feature on the soundtrack. They each have incredible voices and will appeal to both the UK and the US. It’s perfect for the next SATC (Sex and the City) film,” sources told London’s The Sun.

Model-turned-autism activist Jenny McCarthy is shutting down her academy for autistic children following a series of disagreements with the school’s co-founder.
Just days after revealing via Twitter that she and boyfriend Jim Carrey had split up, Jenny announced that she is closing Teach2Talk Academy, her school for autistic children.
“Jenny and her partner at the Academy, Sarah Scheflen, had different visions for the school and made a decision to go their separate ways,” a rep for Jenny said in a statement late Thursday night.
The rep noted that both women will carry on their work in the fight against autism.
“Both intend to continue on in this important mission. Sarah and Jenny really enjoyed their time working at the Academy and feel honored that they were able to provide such high quality early intervention services to so many children with autism and other developmental disabilities.”
It’s official: Jane Lynch and her longtime girlfriend, psychologist Lara Embry, are engaged. The star — who plays cheerleading coach Sue Slyvester on television’s Glee — went public with the news that she and her partner are set to wed during a Glee event in Hollywood on Saturday.
