Tracy Morgan, Emmy-nominated star of 30 Rock, will return to host another season of Syfy’s (Still can’t stand spelling it like that!) Scare Tactics. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the NBC-owned channel is bringing back the hidden camera show for an all-new fourth season this fall.
Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet is getting a much needed shoulder to lean on from old pal Leonardo DiCaprio as she preps for a divorce battle with American Beauty director Sam Mendes.
The couple, who have been married since 2003 and have a six-year-old son, Joe, insist the breakup is “amicable.”
They shot to fame playing lovers in the movie Titanic and were reunited on screen two years ago in Revolutionary Road – directed by Mendes. Now twice-married Winslet’s friendship with DiCaprio, 35, has been rekindled as her six-year marriage crumbles.
A source revealed to Britain’s The Sun: “Leo and Kate have been like brother and sister since they starred in Titanic together. Kate has always really adored Leo and feels like she can tell him anything….He’s been a rock for her.”
Xander got tased…..
Nicholas Brendon – best known for playing Xander on the popular TV vampire series Buffy The Vampire Slayer -– was arrested in Venice, California early Wednesday after being tased by local cops.
According to TMZ, police received reports about an alleged drunken man acting disorderly. When they arrived on the scene, Brendon reportedly took a swing at officers and then attempted to flee the scene.
Police reportedly tased the actor two times to subdue him. He was later taken to a local hospital.
The actor was arrested on felony vandalism charges. He is currently being held on $20,000 bail.
Baby news for Amy Poehler & Will Arnett! The 38-year-old Parks & Rec star and her husband of six years Arnett, 39, are expecting Baby No. 2, the couple confirmed to UsMagazine.com on Wednesday. The baby will join big brother Archie, who is 16 months old.
No word on when Amy is due.
Former CSI star Gary Dourdan is the victim in a case of domestic violence after an incident at his Los Angeles home ended with the actor’s significantly smaller girlfriend being led away in handcuffs on Tuesday.
Cops were called to the star’s home in Venice, California yesterday afternoon after Dourdan reported an altercation with Spanish-born girlfriend Maria Asis del Alamo, according to TMZ.com. Dourdan, who played Warrick Brown on CSI before leaving the series in 2008, was found scratched and bruised by responding officers.
Alamo was taken into police custody and allegedly booked on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge. She was later released on bail.
Dourdan became the center of a real life crime investigation after being caught with heroin, cocaine, and ecstasy in 2007.
(Not sure what went on here, but it sounds like Gary did the right thing by not hitting this woman back. Hopefully he goes two for two and gets out of this relationship!)

American Idol judge Simon Cowell explains why everyone must respect all living creatures — including our furry and feathered friends — in a new public service announcement that cries out against animal abuse.
The music mogul loves animals so much he’s throwing his weight behind a new campaign spearheaded by the World Society for Protection of Animals charity — “Animals Matter to Me” — by recording a PSA for the group.
In the confessional, which premiered last week, Simon explains that on the worst day of his life, he returned home, only to find “waiting up for me was my pet dog, and he jumped up, licked my face, was happy to see me and everything was happy again.”
Simon is urging others to join the Animals Matter to Me Campaign, to promote welfare of animals around the globe.
“The World Society for Protection of Animals struck a chord with me, as it’s a global charity that recognizes the needs of animals around the world,” Cowell said in a statement. “When I was growing up, we had pets, and I was taught early on that you have to respect animals. I don’t have pets now, simply because I travel too much to take on the responsibility. But owning pets has had an immensely positive impact on my life and I think animals deserve our protection.”

Sandra Bullock has pulled out of the London premiere of her Oscar-nominated movie The Blind Side just as reports that her husband, biker enthusiast and West Coast Choppers owner Jesse James, has been secretly cheating on her for nearly a year with busty tattoo model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee.
The red carpet screening of the hit movie was due to take place in London’s famous Leicester Square next Tuesday but was abruptly cancelled Wednesday after Sandra scrapped her appearance. A spokeswoman for an agency handling publicity for the canned premiere said the decision was made after the recent Academy Award winner informed organizers she was no longer available to travel across the Atlantic for the event:
“Because Sandra isn’t coming any more, there isn’t going to be an actual premiere. She isn’t coming over, no. I don’t know the reason why. We just had the message relayed to us this morning. All the people who were invited to the premiere will still get to see the film, but there won’t be the media events. All plans are off but the film will still be screened.”
Ironically, just hours before Sandra cancelled her appearance, In Touch Weekly published a bombshell interview with a vixen named — You guessed it — “Bombshell,” who claims while Sandra was in Atlanta filming her award-winning role as Southern savior Leigh Ann Tuohy, her husband Jesse was having unprotected sexy times with his mistress.

Vampires are still hot: Sigourney Weaver will play a vampire queen in Vamps, in upcoming “romantic horror-comedy” from Clueless director Amy Heckerling, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday. The Alien actress has been tapped for the role of Ciccerus, a dark mistress who turns two New Yorkers, played by Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter, into vampires too.

Cheryl Cole could be heading Stateside to judge The X Factor. The Girls Aloud beauty is well on her way to signing a $2.2million deal with the US version of Simon Cowell’s popular UK talent show, according to new reports out of Britain.
She’s been laying low since announcing the bust-up of her marriage to soccer star Ashley Cole, but Cowell has apparently negotiated a deal for Cheryl with FOX executives, insisting that the 26-year-old singer is his “first choice” for the coveted judging role.
He reportedly told network bosses: “I took more of a gamble taking Piers Morgan to the States. Cheryl will be loved immediately. We’ve got to nail her down. Cole became a national TV icon after starring on the British version and now Cowell has big plans for her over the pond. Getting the right combination for the panel is imperative and Cheryl ticks all the boxes,” a source told The Daily Mirror.

On his Official Blog Tuesday, actor Corey Feldman penned an open letter to his late friend and frequent Corey Haim — who was laid to rest in Toronto. Haim died of a suspected heart aliment in his Los Angeles apartment last week. Feldman, who shot to fame starring alongside Haim in a string of classic ’80s teen films including The Lost Boys and License to Drive, entitled the post “A Letter for the Grave… (an open letter to Corey Haim).”
In it, Feldman says “nobody will understand the brotherhood” he and Haim shared.
“I miss you so much already,” Corey writes. “When I think of something funny I don’t know who to tell it to. I find myself trying to call you but then remember your not there. I think about the new movies we will soon be doing together and then suddenly realize [sic] that the dream is over.”

Lindsay Lohan’s dad has suffered a heart attack.
Michael Lohan suffered a minor heart attack on Tuesday, just weeks after doctors told him he would have to undergo a catheterization.
The outspoken stage dad — who was taken to hospital last week after suffering chest pains during a celebrity boxing match — was rushed to St Francis Hospital in New York yesterday afternoon after complaining of after complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath after a flight from Miami. Doctors believe Lohan suffered a small heart attack and that he will need to undergo a medical procedure to treat a pre-existing heart condition, according to his journalist girlfriend Kate Major.
“He was short of breath all day. His blood pressure skyrocketed. Right now they’ve told him it looks like he had a minor heart attack but they are still doing tests on him.”
Michael – who is estranged from his actress daughter – is reportedly scheduled to have a procedure to clear his arteries on Friday.
Michael, 49, had been in Miami for an appearance on FOX News’ Geraldo At Large and had also been participating in a photoshoot with Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.
It’s been a big six months for reality star Kelly Osbourne. She finished third on the ninth season of Dancing With The Stars, slimmed-down her once pudgy frame, and even adopted a new hair color. In honor of all the progressive changes in her life, Kelly has decided to update her 2009 autobiography, Fierce.
“The publishers and I have decided it could do with updating after everything that’s gone on during the past six months, like taking part in Dancing with the Stars, and the cover photo needs changing too – I had black hair then. I’m still really proud of my book, it gives advice to teenagers while telling my story of growing up.”
The original version of Fierce reveals a candid account of Kelly’s Vicodin addiction, which began after a spout of tonsillitis at 13. The once-troubled star has been in rehab four times for addiction to painkillers.
Reality star Kendra Wilkinson opens up about her teenage drug problem and a stint in a psychiatric ward on the latest installment of E!’s celebrity documentary series True Hollywood Story.
Wilkinson struggled with drug addiction as a teenager and was briefly locked up for “feeling suicidal,” the ex-Girl Next Door and new mom, 24, has revealed. In the interview, airing Wednesday night at 10 PM on E!, Kendra says her “drug days” began at 13 when a friend offered her cocaine. But the time she was a sophomore in high school, she was using drugs “every day, every minute” and would often cut herself. After swallowing “a half dozen or so” pills at school at age 15, her mother checked her in a psychiatric facility.
“It was crazy in that place,” Wilkinson says in the expose, obtained by Us Weekly. “We didn’t see daylight. We weren’t allowed outside. It was basically a jail, but it was a hospital. I think it made me worse because in my heart I didn’t want to change. People were forcing me, and that’s something that does not work with me.”
In a Sex And The City expose, show creator, Michael Patrick King has revealed that he banned Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda Hobbs in the series, from eating during shooting because her loud grazing drowns out the dialogue of her cast members.
“There’s only one thing I avoided having Cynthia do on all the years of Sex and the City, and that was to eat on camera,” Michael quipped. “I discovered early in the first season, when I wrote that Miranda eats in a coffee shop, Cynthia would eat in the coffee shop. I mean, chew and bite with gusto. There were times you couldn’t even hear the other girls’ lines. Seriously, all the girls would get to pick what they wanted in the coffee shop scenes, and Kristin and SJ would pick salads, and Kim would pick blueberries, and Cynthia, I’d look over, would be eating a cheeseburger.
