Shall have been employed for at least one year after passing the entire subject in Diploma.

Candidates should be working in a place within a distance of 65 km from the University so as to enable him / her to attend the classes regularly by 6.15 p.m.

Anna University was converted into an affiliated type of University wherein all the Government, Government aided and Self-financing Engineering Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu numbering around 102 are affiliated to it.

Since the number of institutions in the state was continuously rising every year and 240 during 2006, for administrative convenience, AnnaUniversity was divided into four separate Universities namely,

Google’s vice president of engineering Vic Gundotra said the Google Voice application, which is still in limbo after Apple declined to give it the greenlight for the app store, will come to the iPhone “one way or the other” on-stage at the Crunchies award ceremony today.

That’s a hint it may not be a native app in Apple’s proper store, but rather a web version accessible through the browser. The two companies are at odds over what happened during the app store process. Apple says it “continues to study” the application and hasn’t approved it because it may “alter the iPhone’s distinctive user experience by replacing the iPhone’s core mobile telephone functionality,” according to a letter to the Federal Communications Commission. But Google has a completely different take on the story — it said Apple did reject the app because it “duplicated the core dialer functionality”, according to parts of another unredacted FCC letter.

Gundotra’s full comments are below:

Michael Arrington: So what phone are you carrying?

Gundotra: Well, because of Google Voice, I have a dozen phones.

Arrington: Well, what do you have on you right now?

Gundotra: I carried a Nexus One today.

Arrington: So you were saying about the Droid?

Gundotra: I like the keyboard.

Arrington: Don’t you think this will hurt your relationship with partners who don’t get to make the official Google Phone?

Gundotra: I think some people are confused about our strategy. What we’re doing is going to consumers directly with the Nexus One as the first in a series. You’ll also see partners like Verizon and its Droid promoted. But there will always bee a flagship set of devices in a space where we make it easy for consumers to choose the best device and the best network.

Arrington: Will we see the next Nexus phone before the next iPhone? That gives you about five months.

Gundotra: We’re trying to innovate fast as possible. We aim to surprise people in 2010.

Arrington: What’s going on with Google Voice and the iPhone? Apple never said no.

Gundotra: Google Voice will come to the iPhone soon — one way or the other.

What started out as a few tips on 3G issues for Google’s Nexus One seems to have ballooned into a fair bit of drama at Google’s support forums. The main complaint appears to be owners reporting that their device either never switches to 3G, or, it is constantly switching between 3G and EDGE. Many users are also posting that switching out to another manufacturer’s set yields great 3G reception where they’re testing, and others have chimed in that the service on their phones has been spotless. In an interview today at All Things D here at CES, Walt Mossberg mentioned the support problems to which Andy Rubin replied “we have to get better at customer service” — all too true if this is a real problem. Let us know in comments if you’re seeing an issue, and if there is a real problem here, hopefully it’ll get addressed on the double.

After months of speculation, it’s official: the Palm Pre Plus and the Pixi Plus do in fact exist, and they’re headed to Verizon Wireless on January 25th.  Sporting some pretty significant improvements, pricing hasn’t been announced as of yet.

New Pre features include an upgrade to 16 GB of internal memory (from 8 GB on the Sprint Pre), an “upgraded” processor of some sort (no, they wouldn’t tell me the official speed), an inductive battery cover out of the box, a new gesture pad resembling the Pixi’s, a “Mobile Hotspot” option which reminds me of the MiFi concept, and a revamped keyboard that clicks similarly to the one on the Pixi.  On the Pixi, an “upgraded” processor can be found, along with Wi-Fi.  I don’t know about you, but it sounds like some welcome improvements to me.

Clarkson’s most recent hit, Already Gone, was penned by Tedder. Clarkson recently said she thought the song sounded too similar to Beyonce’s Halo, another Tedder composition. And while the songs share a certain aesthetic, the accusation is a natural byproduct of this producer-ruled relationship.

The producers are calling the shots, and it’ll be interesting to see if that changes much in the next 10 years.

4. When lifting heavy items (i.e. bags o’ soil) use the correct lifting position to avoid back and leg injuries.
5. Never place toxic chemicals up high without first making sure the caps are on tight. The last thing you need is a bottle of fertilizer falling on your face. In fact a smarter move is to try organic gardening and skip this risk altogether.
6. Keep sharp tools sharpened all the time. Not only will they work better but if you get cut a clean cut is better than a rusty jagged cut. IF you get cut treat the injury right away with a disinfectant and if it swells, turns odd colors, or is overly painful see a doctor.
7. Be aware of lightening dangers in stormy weather.
