  • LG Chem to Build Battery Cell Plant in the US

    LG Chem has just announced today that it intends to build a new $303 million lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility in Holland, Michigan.   • BYD Posts Record Q4 Profit

    After an incredible 2009 in terms of sales and an at least as promicing start of 2010, Chinese manufacturer BYD posted 1.46 billion yuan ($214 million) earnings for Q4, nearly doubling the initial forecast of 891 million yuan. Full year net profit was 3.79 billion yuan up from 1.02 billion yuan a year earlier.
