  • Sean Penn Charged With Battery & Vandelism After Kicking Paparazzi

Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn is facing battery and vandalism charges in relation to an altercation with a photographer in Brentwood last fall.

Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office Spokesman Frank Mateljan says the 49-year-old Milk actor kicked a photographer during a brawl in October. The photographer’s camera also was damaged.

“We’re alleging that in the scuffle a photographer’s camera was damaged and he was battered…” Mateljan said this afternoon.

If convicted, Penn could face up to 18 months in jail. It’s not the first time Penn has been reprimanded for his violent outbursts. The father of two was sentenced to 60 days in jail for punching a movie extra on the set of the police drama Colors in 1987. At the time, he was on probation for punching a songwriter at a Los Angeles club.

  • Tiger Woods Mistress Veronica Siwik Daniels Wants Personal Apology

Tiger put his tail between his legs and publicly apologized for being a manwhore during an AM press conference Friday. There’s already mixed reaction to the shamed sportsman’s mea culpa. While some golfers are upset with the timing of Woods’ statement, one of the PGA champ’s former Buss It Babies turned on the waterworks in a press conference of her own in Los Angeles this morning.

Professional fucker Joslyn James (AKA Veronica SiwikDaniels), flanked by her hot shot attorney Gloria Allred, accused Tiger of ruining her “career” as an adult film actress and emotionally abandoning her after they engaged in a more than three year affair that ended when word of Tiger’s sexcapades hit the tabs last November.

See Tiger, this is the kind of shit that happens when you bed basic bitches, and this girl’s about one boiled bunny away from Glen Close in Fatal Attraction.

“I never wanted to cause Elin, Sam or Charlie any pain. But I’m not the sole cause. Tiger pursued me and over time I fell in love with him. And he told me he loved me too,” she said before crying. In an interview with Inside Edition this week, Joslyn claimed that she became pregnant twice during her romance with Tiger and even aborted one pregnancy in a bid to protect the golfer’s reputation as a squeaky-clean family man.

“You can’t help who you love…” You can when its someone else’s husband!

  • Andrea Fay Friedman: “Hey Palin, Lighten Up!”

Andrea Fay Friedman, the actress who played Ellen on an episode of Family Guy that Republican Sarah Palin claims mocks her special needs son, is sounding off on the controversy. Like Ellen and Sarah’s 22-month-old son Trig, Friedman, 39, has Down syndrome. In an e-mail sent to The New York Times on Thursday, Friedman implored the former GOP VP candidate to try tickling her funny bone and quit taking things so seriously.

“I guess former Governor Palin does not have a sense of humor. I thought the line ‘I am the daughter of the former governor of Alaska’ was very funny. I think the word is ’sarcasm.’ In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life…..”

Friedman went on to say that “My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes.”
She added that she “was making fun of Sarah Palin, but not her son.”

The actress, who also appeared on the ABC family drama Life Goes On in the early ’90s told The Times that she is “proud” of playing a character with Down syndrome.

The Palins, on the other hand, are incensed over Sunday’s episode of the program, which sees Chris dating a mentally-challenged classmate with an ego the size of Texas. In a statement, Palin’s teen mom daughter Bristol slammed the FOX animated comedy: “Shouldn’t we be willing to say that some things just are not funny? Are there any limits to what some people will do or say in regards to my little brother or others in the special needs community?”

  • Dolly Parton On Celebrity Couples: “It’s Never Going To Work!”

It’s safe to say, Dolly is not a Brangelina fan. Check out what The Queen of Country Music had to say about celebrity couples this week: “Aren’t Angelina and Brad meant to be having problems? And Madonna and her husband Guy (Ritchie) didn’t last long. There are so many break-ups that the names pass me by but it makes me think, if you want to escape the spotlight why marry another famous person? It’s never going to work. You’re either in competition or your priorities are different. Your schedules will always clash so you never see each other.”

The “Islands In The Stream” singer has been married to her husband Carl Dean for 44 years. The couple met in a laundromat, and Dolly believes the secret to their marital success is the fact that Carl isn’t in the industry.

“My husband is a homebody and has nothing to do with this celebrity world. We’ve been married 44 years and have worked so well together because we’re not in the same business. I met my husband before I became a star and he doesn’t care about any of it. If I’d married someone in the same business, it would never have lasted.”

  • Tiger Woods Press Conference Apology VIDEO

Tiger Woods hugged his mother Kultida after publicly apologizing for “irresponsible and selfish behavior” during his first public statement to a small gathering of reporters and friends at the headquarters of the U.S. PGA Tour in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida on Friday. The sex-addicted golfer offered a mea culpa for his behavior and vigorously defended his wife Elin during a prepared statement to the media this morning. Here’s the full video from Tiger Woods’ press conference apology:

Tiger Woods Press Conference Apology VIDEO

“I want to say to each one of you simply and directly, I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I engaged in…. Elin and I have started the process of healing the damage.” But he said, “My real apology to her will not come in the form of words. It will come from my behavior over time. However, what we say to each other will remain between the two of us,”
    the sportsman said.

“Elin never hit me that night or any other night,” Woods said, referring to an odd crash outside suburban Orlando home last Thanksgiving. “There has never been an episode of domestic violence in our marriage. Ever. Elin has shown enormous grace and poise throughout this ordeal. Elin deserves praise, not blame. The issue involved here was my repeated irresponsible behavior. I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated.”

Tiger ended the press conference which was about 15 minutes long saying he may return to golf but is not sure when and asked everyone watching to “find room in their heart to one day believe in him….”

  • Adam Lambert “Feels Bad” For Shushing Chatty Fan

Adam Lambert is regretful about silencing an audience member who busily chatted on her cell phone while he was on stage during a recent gig – but insists the young woman needed to “learn a lesson” about concert etiquette.

The former American Idol runner-up was performing his hit single “Whataya Want From Me” for iheartradio at New York’s PC Richard & Son Theater on Monday when he spotted a fan gabbing on her phone….so he ordered her to shut up.

“Sorry, can you get off your phone? You’re yelling into it. You’re not watching TV, honey – it’s a live show!”

He tells Access Hollywood: “I feel bad. I didn’t mean to make her feel bad. I was trying to record an acoustic song. We were recording the concert and it was very quiet and intimate and she was in the third row, quite loud on her cell phone. I just told her to please get off of it because I (couldn’t) concentrate… I made sure afterwards to kind of blow her a kiss and like, make amends. I didn’t want to really embarrass her. For that moment she needed to be a little embarrassed and she needed to learn that lesson and I’m glad.”

Adam says the girl later called into the radio station that sponsored the event and apologized for the phone snafu.

  • Simon Cowell: “Perez Hilton Could Replace Me On ‘American Idol’”

Celebrity gossip Perez Hilton has been vocal about his desire to take over judging duties for mean-mouthed music mogul Simon Cowell when the Brit leaves American Idol this May, and in a press call with The Associated Press on Thursday, Cowell seemed to co-sign Hilton’s campaign. Simon says that Hilton, who has his own music label under Warner Music Group, could be a positive addition to the panel.

“Perez would be funny,” Cowell said. “He’s got good taste in music, he’s got a personality, that could work.”

In the event that the blogger can’t become an Idol judge, he’d like to lend his “expertise” to Cowell’s new talent show, The X Factor America.

“I think that Simon Cowell leaving American Idol is amazing, because those are two potential jobs that I may have in the future,” Perez told MTV last month. “I’d be a great judge. But I’d also happily be a judge along with Simon Cowell on his US version of X Factor. Basically, I’m shamelessly looking for work. I’m available. And I’m cheap!” added the notorious fameseeker.

Cowell also brushed off rumors that controversial radio shock jock or pop queen Madonna could join the show. Simon believes Madge wouldn’t be able to agree to the “time commitment,” while Howard doesn’t have the enough experience in the music industry to make a valid contribution to the show.

“I know Howard’s name has been in there for a while, but I’m fairly certain that there hasn’t been an approach at any time for Howard to do this show. I think, over the years, judges have been replaced by personalities. That, in the long term, will create problems because you have to be able to spot a star. My advice would be find somebody who actually knows what they’re talking about and has actually experienced success in the music business. (Stern) doesn’t seem to have any of this criteria.”

  • Donald Faison CBS Pilot “The Law” Casts Doubt On “Scrubs” Future

Scrubs’ Donald Faison has been cast in a CBS pilot, but the new gig has left the actor’s future on the long-running comedy in doubt. The casting news has sparked rumors that Scrubs – which moved from its network home at NBC to ABC last season — may be axed for good.

  • Tiger Woods Returning To Rehab After Morning Press Conference

Tiger Woods will invade our TV screens in about two hours (They’d better not cut into People’s Court for this shit….), and according to a statement issued by PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem, Woods will head back to sex rehab after making his first public appearance following a serial infidelity scandal that threatened his family and career. The scandal-scarred golfer has been on hiatus from the Gentle Path Rehab Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he has been receiving treatment for sex addiction for more than two months.

Finchem wrote in part: “As we understand it, Tiger’s therapy called for a week’s break at this time during which he has spent a few days with his children and then will make his statement before returning. Accordingly, there was very little flexibility in the date for the announcement.”

Woods is expected to apologize for his sexual shenanigans with at least 12 mistresses over the course of his nearly 6 year marriage to former Swedish model Elin Nordegren. The golfer will speak during Day 3 of a golf tournament sponsored by Accenture, the first company to drop Woods.

She just made it home-made style for me, lo fi. But it’s good. Especially for the batwing problem. Also, some of her dedicated clients talk about why they love her as much as I do. • Landlord Suing Doug Reinhardt & MTV Over Trashed “Hills” House

A Los Angeles real estate developer has filed suit against Paris Hilton’s baseball-sluggin’ BF Doug Reinhardt and MTV for damage Reinhardt allegedly caused to a home he rented will appearing on the MTV docusoap The Hills.

Last September, Reinhardt sued landlord Mark Rooke after the property owner refused to repay a $21,000 security deposit. Reinhardt demanded the full sum of the deposit back, minus the amount he agreed to pay in repairs.

Rooke isn’t giving up that easily. The landlord claims Reinhardt and MTV caused “substantial physical and other damage” to the home with shooting scenes for the show, and he’s holding on to the deposit. Rooke is now countersuing the former sports star. The suit also targets MTV, claiming camera crews for the network trespassed on the property without his permission, therefore breaking his contract with Reinhardt.

Rooke is seeking unspecified damages and legal costs.

  • Patrick Swayze’s Widow Lisa Niemi Selling New Mexico Ranch

Partick Swayze’s widow is selling the New Mexico ranch where the Dirty Dancing actor spent his final days, a new report claims.

Lisa Niemi was married to Swayze for 34 years, and was devastated when the popular actor died after a lengthy battle against pancreatic cancer last September. Niemi has decided to part with the horse ranch her husband loved because she can no longer cope with being there all alone, tattles reveal in the Feb. 29 issue of The National Enquirer. Lisa, 53, recently told pals she still feels the Ghost actor’s presence when she’s at home.

“The ranch holds a lot of good memories for Lisa of her life with Patrick, but she is having a hard time continuing to live in the house where he died,” says one source — who claims Lisa has been seeing a psychic to help her work through her grief. “Lisa is so lost without Patrick, she has consulted a psychic. She wants to know he is at peace or if there is any way to get a message to him or if she can hear anything Patrick has to say to her. She has flown the psychic to California and also talks to her frequently on the phone. She seems to feel better after their sessions.”

Niemi led a discussion on grief and shared memories of her beloved Patrick at the California Women’s Conference 2009 in Long Beach last October.

  • Justin Bieber Obsession Drives Crying Three-Year-Old To Tears [VIDEO]

In what could be the most severe case of Bieber Fever we’ve ever seen (and that’s counting the time the teeners went batshit and trampled each other at a Bieber CD signing in Long Island), a video of a three-year-old girl crying over 15-year-old Canadian-born pop sensation Justin Bieber has gone viral after the tot’s mother decided to share the mildly-disturbing footage with YouTubers.

The “One Less Lonely Girl” crooner has become a heartthrob on the teen scene since his platinum-selling debut in 2009. Poor little Cody, age 3, summoned to tears by her love for Bieber in a video shot by her mother and older sister earlier this month. Cradled in her mom’s arms as she spoke of her admiration for the teen idol, at one point the tot can be heard yelping: “I want him to be in our family!” When her mother suggests listening to some of Justin’s music to make her feel better, she exclaims: “No! That will just make me cry again!”

Justin Tweeted about the three-year-old on Thursday, writing: “The last 2 days I have gotten so many emails about this clip…Cody, I love you too.”

  • Lisa Rinna Sorry For Slamming Heidi Montag

Lisa Rinna has Twittered an apology for ridiculing Heidi Montag’s highly-publicized face and body overhaul. Rinna — whose plumped-up pout is evidence of her devotion to Botox — came under public scrutiny this week, when she told Fancast.com that she wouldn’t allow her two young daughters to look at the results of The Hills star’s plastic surgery makeover on the cover of PEOPLE Magazine last month.

Montag covered the lifestyle mag after she had 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day.

“I will tell you, I had to take that cover off the magazine before it came in the house,” Rinna, 46, told Fancast. “We have two girls. I don’t think it is something you want to bring in the house and say, ‘Oh, look.’”

Rinna, who will appear in a TV Land reality series with her actor husband Harry Hamlin this fall, explained that she rips off magazine covers that she considers “not appropriate” for her daughters, Delilah, 11, and Amelia, 8, to see.

The former Melrose Place actress changed her tune in a post to her Twitter page on Thursday: “I apologize to Miss Montag if my words were taken and used against her in the press. I did not slam her or her surgeries for the record….I find that we must be careful not to judge or weigh in on anything other than ourselves. I am living and learning this still!”

  • “Steven Seagal: Lawman” Renewed For Second Season On A&E

Steven Seagal hit reality docudrama has been picked up for a second season on A&E. The network has ordered 16 additional episodes of Steven Seagal: Lawman after a record-breaking inaugural season that solidified the show’s title as the most watched freshman performance in A&E history. The show follows the ’90s action star in his role as a Louisiana law enforcement official. Seagal and his Sheriffs Department colleagues will be back to protect the people of New Orleans, but this time the production filmed during Mardi Gras, The Hollywood Reporter said on Friday.

“It presents some unique challenges to the police force and Seagal; there’s such a high volume of people you never quite know what you’re going to get,” said series executive producer Robert Sharenow. “The show is very straightforward when they’re intervening during crimes — there’s no nudging wink at the audience. Steven’s just got this funny, dry sense of humor.”
