Uh-oh, it looks like MTV’s got a well-gelled John Mayer on its hands. Gay and lesbian fans of the popular reality series are not pleased with unaired footage of Shore star Ronnie Magro spewing a homophobic rant. A clip that surfaced on YouTube this week shows Ronnie unleashing of a barrage of anti-gay slurs before a brawl on the boardwalk. In the clip, Magro can he heard yelling “f**king f**got” and “f**king qu*er” to a man he later comes to blows with.
Homophobia is soooo ’80s!
Ronnie has since apologized to for his use of hate speech: “I apologize to my fans, In the heat of the moment i said a lot of things i didnt mean and im very sorry… i love my creepy fans…” the self-assessed guido Tweeted on Wednesday.
Twilight castoff Rachelle Lefevre has been tipped for a role in a new CBS medical drama from ER creator John Wells. The still untitled project “centers on a mobile medical team that travels the U.S. helping those in need get through life-or-death medical crisis,” The Hollywood Reporter dished On Friday. Lefevre will play a young doctor.
Rachelle previously co-starred on the now-defunct CBS drama Swingtown. Lefevre is best known for her role as vampire Victoria in the first two Twilight films. In July, she was fired from the franchise over a scheduling conflict. She was replaced in the upcoming third installment, Eclipse, by actress Bryce Dallas Howard.

American Idol Season 6 finalist Melinda Doolittle has penned a new memoir, titled Beyond Me and due for release May 4. The former backup singer shares the secrets to her success and gives tips for overcoming personal obstacles in the book, which features a foreword by Idol 6 winner Jordin Sparks.
Sparks writes: “Melinda’s called her book Beyond Me, and I know that is where her amazing strength comes from. I loved reading about the adventures we shared on AI and seeing the same events from her unique perspective. But even more, I loved reading about the stories that were new to me – insights and memories from her childhood and growing-up years. It really made me see where she got all that wisdom! Beyond Me provides a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of one of America’s biggest pop culture phenomenon, American Idol, and how Doolittle turned that stress-filled environment into a springboard from which she could soar…..”
Doolittle will be the guest star for a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Victoria, Texas later this month.
American Idol just finished selecting the Top 24 — and Simon Cowell is already talking about what he’d like to see during his final season on the TV talent show.
“I think we should have Lady Gaga,” Cowell told reporters on a Thursday afternoon conference call. “She is the most relevant pop artist in the world at the moment… and I’ve met her and she’s very smart. I like her.”
The judge also revealed that he thinks one of the 12 female semifinalists should surge to the top in his final season with the show
“We’ve had a few years of guys winning the show and I would say there is definitely a better chance of a girl winning the show this year, certainly than last year. I would love to find a Taylor Swift. Somebody who’s relevant rather than a contest winner.”
Simon will leave Idol at the end of the current season to concentrate on creating an American version of his UK hit, The X Factor.

Buzz Aldrin, who was the second person to set foot on the moon, is the favorite, thanks to his regular appearances across television. Although, it still yet could be Neil Armstrong, Access says.

Sir Elton John sat down for an interesting interview — where he chats candidly on celebrity, his relationship with longtime partner David Furnish and his conviction that Jesus was gay — in this week’s issue of Parade.

It’s the moment Twi-Hards have been waiting for: Thursday evening brings the scoop that an official date has been set for the world premiere trailer of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third (and possibly final) installment in the wildly-popular film series.
The Eclipse trailer will premiere March 12 — the same day series heartthrob Robert Pattinson debuts his new romantic drama Remember Me in theaters across North America — Summit Entertainment announced on its Twitter page Thursday. Fans will also be able to watch a seven-minute clip of the latest Twilight feature when the blockbuster sequel New Moon arrives on DVD March 20.
Morgan Freeman still hasn’t regained use of his left hand after a August 2008 car crash in Mississippi left the Oscar-winner with nerve damage. Although he had surgery to reconnect nerves in his left arm and hand soon after the accident, Freeman says he hasn’t been able to move the end of the forelimb in more than a year.
“I suffered nerve damage and it hasn’t gotten better. I can’t move it,” the star told PEOPLE at Wednesday’s Los Angeles premiere of The Eastwood Factor. “If you don’t move your hand, it will swell up. Do you know you move your hand about a million times a day?”

The New York Post’s Page Six Column claims the “SexyBack” star angered stylists and models by requiring all employees at the venue to sign a document to ensure they wouldn’t reveal inside information about him or the show.
A source tells the tab: “Justin made everyone sign an agreement not to gossip about him. Then, three-quarters of the entire venue was closed off for him, so all the stylists were forced to work on 31 models in a tiny area, causing tempers to flare.”
