  • Rihanna As Dominatrix In “The Last Dragon” Remake

Rihanna has reportedly been cast as a “super sexy, super kinky” dominatrix in an upcoming remake of the 1985 martial arts classic The Last Dragon.

The 21-year-old pop star will appear in the X-rated role alongside Hollywood vet Samuel L. Jackson — who has also been cast in the film, produced by Wu-Tang rapper RZA — insiders close to negotiations spilled to London’s Daily Mirror this week.

“She has landed an incredibly challenging role alongside Samuel L. Jackson. But it’s not a part for the faint-hearted. She will play a super sexy, super kinky dominatrix,” one gossip gabs. “She has been told to research the part – and this could well include a trip to an S&M dungeon.”

  • Paris Hilton Falls Down Drunk At Beer Promo Event In Brazil

Paris Hilton has become a bit boring over the past few months. Let’s face it, the girl just doesn’t have the same appeal when she’s not dancing on tables or making a general ass of herself on the Hollywood party scene.

So it’s pretty awesome that while promoting the launch of Devassa Bem Loura Beer brand in Rio De Janeiro over the weekend, P.H. proved that she’s still the same skanky trust fund mutt we remember by sampling a large portion of the product herself. She later fell over drunk and accidentally flashed her throng for the entire room to see. Some things never change. Cheers!

  • Fergie Replaces Jennifer Aniston As Hollywood’s Most Desired Body

Jennifer Aniston’s famous figure has been knocked off its perch by Fergie’s lovely lady lumps. According to an annual list of “Famed Hottest Looks” — compiled by Beverly Hills plastic surgeons Richard W. Fleming and Toby G. Mayer — Fergie has replaced Aniston as the celebrity body most desired by plastic surgery patients.

“Fergie’s body is proportional – that’s really the key,” Dr. Fleming revealed last week. “ Women like Jennifer Aniston and Eva Longoria have topped the “best body” list in the past. They’re not as curvy as Fergie is, but they’re all proportional.”

Angelina Jolie boasts Hollywood’s most requested lips. While people were constantly coveting the locks of Lea Michele, Taylor Swift and Alicia Keys. Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen and actress Olivia Wilde were also tops on the list.

“It amazes me that people’s concepts of beauty hasn’t changed much over the years, what people are requesting in terms of beauty has been pretty consistent with us. Our patients want to look natural and proportional,” Fleming added.

  • Did “Family Guy” Mock Sarah Palin’s Down Syndrome-Suffering Son Trig?

FOX’s popular animated comedy Family Guy is flirting with controversy after allegedly mocking Sarah Palin’s youngest son, who suffers from Down syndrome, on Sunday night’s show.

On last night’s airing Chris Griffin courts a rude young woman, who suffers from Down syndrome and makes comparisons to Palin’s 22-month-old son, Trig.

“My dad’s an accountant, and my mom’s the former governor of Alaska,” the character replies when Chris quizzes her on what her parents do.

The irreverent reference is certain to infuriate the former GOP candidate for Vice-President. Earlier this month, Palin called for the firings of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and conservative shock jock Rush Limbaugh for using the word “retarded.”

  • Megan Fox Motorola Ad Hand Model Revealed As Pamela Moses

The mystery girl holding the cell phone in Megan Fox’s buzzworthy Super Bowl Sunday ad for Motorola has been identified.

The thumbs of pretty model Pamela Moses got to stand in for Megan’s after Moses’ agent was asked to supply a casting director with pictures of her hands, TMZ.com has learned. Little did Pamela know her fingers and traditionally-shaped thumb would catch the eyes of millions of sports fans!

Viewers quickly realized that the hand in the Super Bowl ad could not belong to Megan because the Transformers star suffers from Brachydactyly, a medical condition in which thumbs look shorter and stubbier than they should.

  • Kobe Bryant NBA Player Of The Decade

TNT crowned Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant NBA Player of the Decade after this weekend’s 59th annual NBA All-Star Game in Dallas. Bryant was selected for the honor out of six finalists — which included Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, LeBron James, Steve Nash, and Shaquille O’Neal. For the first time since 1997, the league’s All-Star Game was played without both Bryant and O’Neal. Bryant was voted in as Western Conference starter by the fans, but he was sidelined with a sprained left ankle.

Kobe and his wife Vanessa watched as the West fell to the East 141-139 in a nail-biter at Cowboys Stadium on Sunday night.

  • Amy Winehouse’s Eleven Cats Dumped At Animal Shelter

Wino’s pussies have been sent packing! Last year, Grammy-winning singer Amy Winehouse decided to replace her well-publicized crack addiction with an addiction to all-things feline. The “Rehab” hitmaker managed to fill her London flat with eleven cats over the past few months.

But now that she’s returned to the Caribbean to work on her long-delayed follow-up album, Amy’s pets have been dumped at a local animal shelter.

“Amy was pretty upset about it because she loved them dearly, but she had to give them up,” a source told The Sun last week. “They were climbing all over the place, breeding and generally getting out of control.”

  • The Brittany Murphy Foundation Refunding Donations

The Brittany Murphy Foundation — founded by the star’s widower and grief-stricken mother — is refunding all donations made to the organization just days after the cancellation of a suspicious gala and a declaration from the IRS and California State officials that says the foundation is technically not a charity.

Over the weekend, the California Secretary of State’s office, the Attorney General’s office, and the IRS told TMZ.com that there are no records for The Brittany Murphy Foundation, despite a statue requiring any foundation soliciting money to disclose the fact that it is not registered as a nonprofit.

Hours after that announcement, the late actress’ mother Sharon and husband Simon Monjack posted a letter on The Brittany Murphy Foundation’s website stating that they would be refunding any donations given to their organization, which had promised to provide funding to youths interested in a future in the arts.

“We began the Brittany Murphy Foundation to honor Brittany’s wishes and to give her family, friends, and fans a way of keeping her legacy alive,” the letter read in part. “In an effort to get the foundation off the ground quickly, we established it as a private foundation with plans to apply for non-profit status down the road. However, after some thought, we have decided instead to wait until we have our non-profit status approved before proceeding to insure that we can truly honor Brittany’s charitable desires. Any donations made up until this point will be returned until we have all our paperwork solidified.”

Brittany passed away after a battle with pneumonia on Dec. 20. She was 32.

  • Only 20 Fans Turn Out For Pamela Anderson A*Muse Clothing Line Launch

Pamela Anderson new clothing line is a bust! The aging pin-up won the booby prize when just 20 fans showed up for the launch party for her new A*Muse Collection.

Although tickets for the event sold for just $25, less than two dozen people showed up to watch the three-time divorcee unveil the frocks, designed in cooperation with designer buddy Richie Rich, at Miami’s upscale Club Play Feb 2.

“Wearing a black minidress with a plunging necklace that revealed much of her massive breast implants, the 42-year-old former Baywatch babe was expecting to be mobbed by pop-eyed fans….” GLOBE writes of the disaster.

Pamela was devastated by the poor turnout, and the star had a hard time disguising her disappointment as she spoke with the tabloid on the mock red carpet: “I’ve had lots of things that didn’t work out, like TV shows, but I’ve always been authentic — except for the boobs!”

On a more positive note (I guess), Pamela has reportedly been cast on the upcoming 10th season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars — which high-kicks into the ballroom next month.

  • John Travolta Adopting Haitian Orphan?

Grease legend John Travolta is the latest Hollywood notable rumored to adopting a child from the earthquake-torn nation of Haiti, gossips reveal to GLOBE.

According to new reports, Travolta, 55, recently notified his staff that he and wife Kelly Preston have decided to take a young Haitian orphan into their Florida home after bonding with a group of parentless children they met during their humanitarian mission to the impoverished Caribbean nation earlier this month. In an interview with The Associated Press this month, John tenderly recalled his heartbreaking encounter with one 7-year-old orphan: “All he wanted to do was see inside our plane. We took him through and gave him treats. To think he doesn’t have a family is pretty rough.”

Insiders says John and Kelly — who lost their autistic son Jett to a seizure in the Bahamas last year — were “shaken” after joining half a dozen other Scientologists in flying a Boeing 707 loaded with emergency supplies into Haiti. Many Haitian children were left homeless and searching for their families after a devastating quake rocked the island Jan. 12. Pals say the stars have decided that adopting a child from Haiti could be a wonderful tribute to Jett’s memory:

“No one can replace Jett in John’s heart, but I think that as a father who’s endured a great loss, he was particularly moved by the suffering he saw in Haiti.”

  • Don Fieger, The Knack “My Sharona” Singer, Dies

Don Fieger, rocker and lead singer of the ’70s/’80s pop-rock band The Knack, has died.

The Detroit native, best remembered for the 1979 hit “My Sharona,” died at his Woodland Hills, California home Sunday after a six year battle against lung cancer spread to his brain, The Knack’s manager, Jake Hooker, told The Associated Press.

    He was 57.

Fieger formed The Knack in Los Angeles in 1978. A year later, he co-wrote and sang lead vocals on “My Sharona” — after being rebuffed by a gorgeous girl of the same name. She was 17 and in high school at the time — Fieger was 26. The two eventually got together, but split four years later. Today, Sharona Alperin is a Los Angeles real estate agent. Easily recognizable by its pounding drums and polarizing guitar solo, the song became an instant smash, spending six weeks atop the Billboard 200 and later being parodied by Weird Al Yankovic. The song was even sampled by rap pioneers Run-DMC.

“I had never met a girl like her — ever,” Fieger told The AP in 1994. “She induced madness. She was a very powerful presence. She had an insouciance that wouldn’t quit. She was very self-assured. … She also had an overpowering scent, and it drove me crazy.”

Don Fieger is survived by his brother Geoffrey and sister Beth, who remembered their brother in a joint press statement issued Sunday: “Doug did not suffer. He is in a better place. And wherever he is, his love and music will continue to shower down upon all of us who remain in this mortal coil, forever.”

  • Gloria Estefan Spearheading Spanish-Language “We Are The World”

The Queen of Miami, Gloria Estefan, is spearheading an effort to bring together a host of Latin singing stars for a Spanish language re-recording of Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie’s “We Are The World.” Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez, Jon Seceda, Paulina Rubio, and Shakira are among the artists expected to contribute vocals to the charity single, which will benefit Haitian earthquake relief. Gloria has already had the song translated and titled it “Somos El Mundo,” according to Hissip.com. The recording will take place next Friday. Last month, the singing legend co-hosted the “Unidos Por Haiti”, Spanish for: United For Haiti, a five-hour commercial free live special dedicated to raising funds for the earthquake victims in Haiti through the American Red Cross.

This has absolutely nothing to do with “We Are The World,” but I simply can’t talk about Gloria Estefan without thinking of this:

  • Melissa Rycroft Shape Bride March 2010

Melissa Rycroft, the formerly jilted star of ABC The Bachelor, is cover girl for the first issue of Shape Bride, on newsstands now. The new lifestyle mag is designed to help brides get in fitting Shape for their big day. The Good Morning America/Entertainment Tonight correspondent rocks a two-piece on the cover — and also poses in a beach-inspired gown for a second cover inside the mag.

Melissa — who finished in third place on Dancing With The Stars last spring — wed hubby Tye Strickland in Mujeres, Mexico last December, and chats about the big day with Shape Bride.

“Even if my cake had shown up black and my flowers were all dead, my wedding still would have been perfect to me. I’m not Megan Fox sexy, but I’m girl-next-door sexy—and I know Tye finds that very attractive. Everyone needs to find their own meaning of the word—and flaunt it!”

  • Kevin Smith Southwest Airlines Fat Controversy

Kevin Smith — portly star of the Silent Bob films — is not happy about being called a “safety risk” by Southwest Airlines.

The Cop Out director — who also helmed comedy Mallrats and Clerks — took to his Twitter account this weekend to inform his over 1.6 million followers that the airline threw him off a flight from Oakland to Burbank on Saturday night because he was “too wide for the sky.”

After delivering a speech in San Francisco, Smith — who often purchases two seats when flying commercial — was buckled in and ready to take flight when he was bounced from the friendly skies for being too fat!

Ouch — now that’s enough to make a guy scarf down a few donuts……

“Dear @SouthwestAir – I know I’m fat, but was Captain Leysath really justified in throwing me off a flight for which I was already seated?” Smith Tweeted of his ordeal. “I’m way fat… But I’m not THERE just yet,” he continued. “But if I am, why wait til my bag is up, and I’m seated WITH ARM RESTS DOWN. In front of a packed plane with a bunch of folks who’d already I.d.ed me as ‘Silent Bob.’”

The apologetic airline eventually presented Smith with a $100 voucher and put him on a different flight. Kevin was having none of it! He continued to Tweet at Southwest all the way back to L.A. The airline hit its own Twitter to apology to the lensman, writing: “…..getting a call at home from our Customer Relations VP tonight,” before adding “Hey Kevin! I’m so sorry for your experience tonight! Hopefully we can make things right.”

Sadly for Southwest, Kevin doesn’t appear to be in a forgiving sort of mood: “Dear Fucktarded PR-Challenged Fatty-Haters at @SouthwestAir: Your ‘apology’ blog is insulting, redacted bullshit. FULL details in two hours….” he fumed in a Tweet Sunday afternoon.

Smith’s Cop Out, which stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, is due in theaters on Feb. 26.

  • Brittany Murphy Final Film “Abandoned” Set For Summer 2010 Release

Abandoned, the final film from actress Brittany Murphy, is headed to the big screen this summer after being picked up by Anchor Bay Entertainment. The Clueless star passed away after suffering cardiac arrest in her Hollywood Hills home on Dec. 20. Brittany wrapped shooting on the psychological thriller Abandoned — featuring co-stars Dean Cain and Mimi Rogers — last June. The feature sees Murphy as Mary Walsh, a woman who takes her boyfriend to the hospital for a routine outpatient surgery and returns to find the man gone — without a trace.

Distribution company Anchor Bay Entertainment has now purchased the rights to the film, bringing Brittany back to theaters months after her death and years after her fortunes fell in Tinseltown following a series of box office flops. Murphy, who co-starred in films like 8 Mile, Uptown Girls, and Girl Interrupted early in her career, had worked in mostly low-budget movies in the final years of her life.

“Brittany will be deeply missed by everyone who worked on Abandoned. The film is a taut thriller which portrays Brittany’s character as smart and tough – and that’s how we all want to remember her,” read a joint statement from producers Jeffrey Schenck and Barry Barnholtz.

Earlier this month, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office concluded that Brittany died after a bout with pneumonia, with anemia and “multiple drug intoxication” listed as contributing factors.

This year’s Fashion For Relief show saw Kelly Osbourne, Donna Karan, and Helena Christensen all walk the catwalk for the charity event, which raised funds for earthquake survivors in Haiti through CARE. The show, styled by Rachel Zoe and hosted by Campbell and Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, follows the model’s first Fashion for Relief event in 2005, which raised $1 million for victims of New Orleans’ Hurricane Katrina.
