Pop idols Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper dropped by ABC’s Good Morning America Wednesday to chat about their roles in MAC’s Viva Glam Campaign for HIV/AIDS awareness.

Cyndi and Gaga are sharing spokesmodel duties as the newest faces of MAC’s “From Our Lips” campaign. Both singers will unveil their own new shade of lipstick — Viva Glam Gaga and Viva Glam Cyndi — on March 18. All proceeds from the sale of the products will support raising awareness about HIV/AIDS. Previous MAC Viva Glam spokesmodels include Fergie, Pamela Anderson, Christina Aquilera, Missy Elliot, and Chole Sevigny.

The Mac Viva Glam AIDS Fund has raised over $150 million since its introduction in 1994.

Morning, PopCrunchers! There’s heavy snow falling in my neck of the woods….for the millionth time in less than a week. Word is Lady Gaga and Britney Spears are cooking up a collabo that will appear on Spears’ forthcoming LP. London’s The Sun claims the pair met at the 2010 Grammy Awards after Lady GaGa’s dad approached Britney. One thing led to another, and now the blondes are planning to head into the studio together.

“Gaga has made no secret of just how much of a Britney fan she is,” a source revealed. “She has even admitted she used to have posters of her on her wall and she was a great source of inspiration when she was a struggling songwriter. She was delighted when she found her dad chatting away to Britney at the party. He introduced them and the three of them were locked in conversation for ages.”

The snitch says, “At the end of the chat, they exchanged numbers and agreed to go into the studio and work on music together as soon as GaGa finishes her ‘Fame Monster’ tour.”

The 23-year-old New York native recently teamed up with Beyonce for the new single “Telephone” and performed with Elton John at the Grammy Awards on Jan. 31.

If watching The Klumps come to life in the form of a weekly reality drama is your idea of groundbreaking television, you’re in luck: TLC has ordered a second helping of its super-sized reality series, One Big Happy Family. The network has picked up 12 episodes of the show, which centers on The Coles Family — an obese clan of four that weighs a collective 1,400 pounds. The series, which premiered in December, is expected to premiere its second season in June.

The blogosphere is rejoicing over Beaker’s rendition of Kansas’ 1977 hit, “Dust In The Wind!”

White Stripes musicians Jack & Meg White have accused the Air Force Reserve of ripping off one of their songs in a Super Bowl ad.

In a scathing statement on its official website Tuesday, The duo warns that it is planning “strong action” against the Air Force Reserve over its Super Bowl commercial, which they claim is an unauthorized rerecording of the 2002 song “Fell in Love With a Girl.” The spot ran in selected markets, including Dallas, Las Vegas and San Francisco, during the Super Bowl telecast last Sunday.

“We believe our song was re-recorded and used without permission of the White Stripes, our publishers, label or management,” the statement read. “The White Stripes take strong insult and objection to the Air Force Reserve’s presenting this advertisement with the implication that we licensed one of our songs to encourage recruitment during a war that we do not support.”

The White Stripes posted a video of its song alongside a link to the Air Force Reserve commercial for fan comparison.

“The White Stripes support this nation’s military, at home and during times when our country needs and depends on them. We simply don’t want to be a cog in the wheel of the current conflict, and hope for a safe and speedy return home for our troops. We have not licensed this song to the Air Force Reserve and we plan to take strong action to stop the ad containing this music.”

After Jack and Meg’s statement hit the Net late Tuesday, the ad was pulled from most online websites. A rep for the Air Force Reserve denies the copyright infringement claims, instead pointing the finger at Fast Forward Music, the company that scored the commercial. The owner of Fast Forward has in turn accused someone else. “We hired a local musician who does stuff for us in the past,” Michael Lee told Entertainment Weekly. “He created the spot. … We thought [what] we had was original [and] he claims it is original.”

Police were called to the Los Angeles home of reality TV star Tila Tequila on Tuesday night, after the “pregnant” celeb called 911 claiming a “stalker” was prowling her property. Officers were sent to the internet sensation’s San Fernando Valley house following emergency calls in which Tequila claimed a man has been watching her for more than two weeks. And wouldn’t you know a search of the area showed no trace of the alleged stalker!?

Truly shocking……Not.

Tila insists an unidentified phantom tried to break into her home, telling RadarOnline.com, “There’s been a psycho stalker and he’s getting closer to my door and tried to get in. He’s been sitting in the rain for days trying to say hi to me! He put his eye up to my door and was trying to peek in and he was jiggling the door.”

Celine Dion is returning to Las Vegas for a new three-year stint — kicking off March 15, 2011.

“We’re very happy to return to the Las Vegas stage. The schedule will be human for Celine, to avoid tiring her out. This second show in Las Vegas will be as amazing as the first adventure, with A New Day…” says Dion’s husband Rene Angelil.

The “My Heart Will Go On” legend previously performed in Sin City between 2003 and 2007. Her show played to more than three million fans and grossed more than $400 million. Dion wrapped up the concerts at the end of 2007, before embarking on her “Taking Chances World Tour,” which she completed last year.

The show contract is for three years, with 70 shows each year, and Dion will perform in the same Caesars Palace theater originally built for her “A New Day Concert Series” nearly 7 years ago. News of superstar’s return to Sin City comes of the heels of reports that songstress Barbra Streisand turned down a massive $100 million offer to take up a residency in the city.

SuBo is no longer the neighborhood cat lady: Susan Boyle’s pet cat Pebbles has moved out of the Scottish cottage the pair once shared. The singing spinster’s beloved moggy is now living in London with 76-year-old retired accountant Pamela Eaton-Browne because Boyle’s jet-setting lifestyle keeps her away from her West Lothian home too often to properly care for the animal.

A devoted cat lover, Pamela has two furry friends of her own, Truffles and Sapphire. Simon Cowell – who discovered Susan on Britain’s Got Talent – arranged for the cat to be moved to Pamela’s home on the recommendation of her neighbor Alex Kadis, who works for Susan’s management team and was asked by the music mogul to find Pebbles a home.

Pamela told Scotland’s Daily Record Tuesday: “One day Simon said to my friend, ‘Do you know anyone who will look after this cat, because Susan’s flying all over the world and what can we do with the cat? Anyway this friend said to me, ‘We all know you like cats. Would you have Susan’s cat for a couple of weeks. But I never expected to have her for this long.”

A rep for Susan also confirmed that the British woman is being paid to care for the feline: “This lady has met Susan on a couple of occasions and she’s looking after Pebbles at the moment for Susan.”

Aussie actress Portia de Rossi is putting pen to paper and is writing a book which will address, among other things, her battle with an eating disorder and her marriage to Emmy-winning American Idol judge Ellen DeGeneres.

“I’m writing a book. It’ll be published in the fall, so… I have to be done with it before then. It will deal with all the secrets that nearly killed me. “I think I’ve got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head. But, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up. It’s my face. I’m not very pretty,” the adorable brunette confesses to the mag. Despite her feelings about her outward appearance, the self-effacing actress takes solace in her “authenticity…..”

Anne continues: “But that’s OK because I do know that I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important…..If I don’t work out at all, I have too much curve and no tone – which is not OK. It’s about finding balance.”

The British-born supermodel is the subject of a new theatrical drama penned with the help of her musician boyfriend Jamie Hince, London’s Daily Mirror said on Wednesday.

“Jamie is addicted to playwriting and is always jotting down scenes,” a tipster reveals. “He mentioned an idea to Kate, based around the lives of her and her friends – and Kate leapt at the chance to get involved.”

The insider adds: “The script is edgy, and could get a few celebs in trouble. Kate may have to tone things down.”

At 36, Kate’s life would certainly make for interesting theater. In addition to modeling for Burberry, Dior and Chanel, the working mom has dated a number of noteworthy men, including Johnny Depp and Pete Doherty.

Lately a new image is leaked every week or so showing the 51-year-old Material Mom without the magic of Photoshop. This latest comparison is from a Louis Vuitton ad released last year. Not that anyone doubted the finished shot had been retouched until Madge resembled a digitally-created video game character, but it’s still a shock to see just how different Madonna looked to begin with.

This isn’t the first time the child star-turned-tabloid mess has posed as a famous figure; Lindsay hit headlines in 2008 when she joined New York Magazine in recreating a nude photo shoot that originally starred her idol, actress Marilyn Monroe.

Hugh Hefner will officially become a bachelor next month when the ink dries on his divorce decree from second wife and ’80s Playboy Playmate Kimberly Conrad.

The Playboy founder filed legal papers in September to put an end to his marriage with Conrad – 11 years after the couple split in 1998.

Relations between the exes — who wed in 1989 — became strained after the media mogul sold the house next door to his famous Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills – where Conrad had been living with their teen sons Marston and Cooper. In August, Conrad sued the Girls Next Door star, claiming Hef failed to honor their prenuptial agreement and owed her more than $6 million.

The dispute has since been settled and legal documents filed in Los Angeles — and obtained by TMZ.com — indicate the union will be legally dissolved on March 11.

The actresses found friendship playing lovesick bestie in Garry Marshall’s new ensemble romantic comedy Valentine’s Day, now Marshall is taking V. Day star Jamie Foxx’s advice and pushing forward with a movie remake of his hit ’70s TV sitcom with Jessica and Jennifer in the title roles.

Marshall says he’s committed to making the movie, which will feature cameos from the original Milwaukee factory workers — his sister Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams.

“We’re gonna work on that. My sister Penny and Cindy are going to be a guest cameo (sic).”
