Former adult film star Joslyn James — the Tiger Mistress who just refuses to go away — says she plans to be in Georgia when the golfing ace make his much anticipated return to the greens at The Masters next month, The New York Post reported on Monday.
Joslyn is planning a series of strip shows at The Pink Pony, a gentleman’s club in Atlanta. The club is three hours outside Augusta, where Tiger will be playing in the Masters — which runs April 5-11.
Earlier this month, Joslyn launched her own website, sextingjoslynjames.com, in which she releases texts and other pieces of evidence that document her relationship with the “sex-addicted” golfer.
GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) president Jarrett Barrios is saluting Menudo boy bander-turned-solo singing sensation Ricky Martin’s decision to reveal that he is gay…even if the “news” is about two decades overdue.
In a bombshell to legions of his fans all over the world, the hip-swirveling 38-year-old confirmed a longtime rumor that he is gay by revealing himself as “a fortunate homosexual” in a statement on his official site on Monday.
American gay rights activists are ecstatic.
“When someone like Ricky Martin comes out, hundreds of millions of people now have a cultural connection with an artist, a celebrity and, perhaps most importantly, a father who happens to be gay. His decision to model this kind of openness and honesty can lead to greater acceptance for countless gay people in the U.S., in Latin America and worldwide,” a statement from GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios reads.
The five-time Grammy Award winner records and performs mostly in Spanish, but has a huge following in English thanks in large part to his 1999 smash hit “Livin’ La Vida Loca” (“Livin’ the Crazy Life”) and his charttopping hit “She Bangs,” which came the following year.
The singer and father of two said he hadn’t come out earlier because his advisers over the years had warned he might ruin his career if he told fans he was gay. In his big gay bombshell, Martin told fans, “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.”
Fans have been mostly supportive of the singer since the With statements on his website reflecting lots of messages of praise and encouragement for Ricky — in English and Spanish.
A rehearsal spat between reality star Kate Gosselin and pro dance partner Tony Dovolani nearly led to the professional quitting the show on Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars.
Tony and Kate suffered an emotional breakdown in their partnership, with Tony at one point walking out of a rehearsal, proclaiming, “I quit.”
The spat took off after Kate, who has consistently been needled for her alleged aloof behavior behind the scenes of the hit ABC show, took on Tony for his teaching techniques while rehearsing for Monday night’s jive; something that clearly pressed buttons for the normally mellow DWTS regular.
Watch the drama unfold in the video above, and let us know which DWTS star you think will be going home on tonight’s Results Show?
The sun is setting on The Hills, but will the end of the once popular MTV reality series also spell disaster for the Terrible Twosome commonly known as “Speidi?”
On Monday afternoon, a new report emerged claiming reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have called it quits. The pair have been plagued by breakup rumors in recents weeks, with various gossip outlets claiming the Spencer was put off by his wife’s controversial plastic surgery makeover last fall. The whispers were further fueled earlier this month, after Heidi fired her husband as her manager and hired a psychic (who she also fired last week).
Now OK! Magazine claims Heidi recently “walked out on her husband after fewer than 18 months of marriage.”
“She’s moving out of her house and away from Spencer,” a source told the mag this evening.
The final season of The Hills kicks off April 27 @ 10PM on MTV.
A few major shake-ups are headed for the new season of FOX’s summer reality hit, So You Think You Can Dance. The forthcoming 7th season of SYTYCD will feature a group of “all-stars” from past seasons when the show returns in May, series executive producer Nigel Lythgoe told reporters on Monday.
Ratings for the dance contest have declined over the past two years from about 9.7 million viewers in 2008 to 7.1 million in 2009, so Lythgoe is hoping to attract new viewers with some major changes. He is assembling a pool of dancers from previous seasons of the series. Each week, the all-stars will pair up with the new contestants, who are vying for a $250,000 cash prize and a dance magazine cover feature.
Emmy-winning choreographer Mia Michaels will return to the show as both a judge and a choreographer, and that just 10 dancers — instead of 20 — will be picked for the main competition from the thousands that audition. In addition, dancers will no longer be able to choose their genre of dance, and less than four people will compete in the finale. Last week, producers announced that just one dancer will be sent home each week — instead of the usual two.
“The whole reason for doing it is to make the show more exciting…Some of these brilliant dancers (from past seasons) have just disappeared off the face of the earth. To be able to have this show use its own talent is fabulous,” Lythgoe said.
So You Think You Can Dance returns to FOX May 27.
The names of the all-stars will be revealed sometime in the coming weeks. Which dancers would you like to see return for the next season of SYTYCD?
Advertising your product during the series finale of Lost will cost you.
ABC is reportedly charging $90,0000 for 30-second ads for the May 23 three-hour ender of the disaster-themed series, according to Advertising Age. The figure is nearly four times the average cost of $213,563 that advertisers spent for similar spots on the show last year.
After more than a decade of rumors and speculation, Ricky Martin has officially come out of the closet, to the surprise of absolutely no one — except of course my childhood bestie Sahara, who somehow never gave up hope that she would one day wed the Puerto Rican hip-shaker. Sorry, girl. Although our gaydar clocked Ricky doing 100 MPH ions ago, the singing star finally acknowledged that he is, in fact, gay in a heartfelt message uploaded to his personal website on Monday.
In a Tweet on Monday, the 38-year-old singer posted a quote attributed to the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. M.L.K.Jr.,” he wrote.
Ricky then Tweeted a link to his coming out about announcement on his Website, simply writing, “my life.”
“I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am,” Ricky wrote. “….These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn’t even know existed.”
(I think a little Lady Di is in order….)
The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer, now a father of toddler twin boys, spoke frankly about the fears that kept him from revealing who he is: “Many people told me: ‘Ricky it’s not important,’ ‘it’s not worth it,’ ‘all the years you’ve worked and everything you’ve built will collapse,’ ‘many people in the world are not ready to accept your truth, your reality, your nature.’ Because all this advice came from people who I love dearly, I decided to move on with my life not sharing with the world my entire truth. Allowing myself to be seduced by fear and insecurity became a self-fulfilling prophecy of sabotage. Today I take full responsibility for my decisions and my actions.”
Ricky said becoming a father to his two sons, who were born via a surrogate mother, also contributed to the decision to come out.
“To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where (sic) born with. Enough is enough….”
Earlier this year, veteran newswoman Barbara Walters counted her 2000 interview with Martin the only chat of her entire career that she reflects on with regret. Babs fears that probing the former Menudo crooner on his sexuality — a question he refused to entertain at the time — likely ruined his career in the United States.
“In 2000, I pushed Ricky Martin very hard to admit if he was gay or not, and the way he refused to do it made everyone decide that he was,” she told The Toronto Star. “A lot of people say that destroyed his career, and when I think back on it now, I feel it was an inappropriate question.”
Disney’s Demi Lovato has landed a guest role on ABC’s award-winning Thursday night medicial drama Grey’s Anatomy.
The role will be unlike anything the 17-year-old Sonny with a Chance starlet has embarked on before: Demi — who recently revealed that she is dating Jonas Brothers star Joe Jonas — will play a patient being treated at Seattle Grace for possible schizophrenia on an episode set to air on Grey’s this May.
Demi is ecstatic about her new starring role, writing on her Twitter page on Monday: “I’m so thrilled to announce that this week I’m shooting Grey’s Anatomy!!!!!!!! 😀 AHHH!!!!”
Adam Lambert will perform at the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards next month, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation announced on Monday.
The annual GLAAD Media Awards recognizes celebrities who offer accurate representation of the gay, lesbian and transgender community in the media. A host of stars will be in attendance at the April 17 event, including 2010 honorees Drew Barrymore and Wanda Sykes, the cast of FOX’s Glee, and Constance McMillen, the 18-year-old Mississippi senior, whose prom was canceled after she challenged the school district over its decision banning same sex couples from attending the event.
“GLAAD has advocated for out music artists, including myself, and I am proud to be part of the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards this year,” the American Idol Season 8 runner-up said in a statement. “GLAAD’s work to share stories that grow acceptance and understanding about the gay and transgender community is so important in our culture today.”
When Mayor Bloomberg Met Snook & Sit: Snooki was spotted over the weekend rocking a new red-streaked “poof” as she, cast mate The Situation, and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg paid tribute to the cast of Broadway’s Hair at the Inner Circle fundraiser dinner on The Hilton Hotel on Saturday, BroadwayWorld.com reports.
Everyone donned flowing wigs, headbands, groovy moccasins and other ’60s garb for the charity dinner, which raised money for dozens of causes, such as the Coalition for the Homeless, the Museum of the City of New York and the American Heart Association.
“Just got done chillen with nycmayor,” Snooki Tweeted after performing a parody skit from Hair with Mayor Bloomberg. “I showed my hair poof for mayor B!”
A little neo-soul, a lot of nudity! Erykah Badu gets naked — at the site of JFK’s assasination, no less — in the new video for her hit single “Window Seat.”
On her Twitter page Monday, Badu acknowleged the growing controversy over the vid, which sees the neo-soul goddess stripping down at the spot of President Kennedy’s assasination in Dallas in 1963: “They were yelling , THIS IS A PUBLIC PLACE : YOU OUGHTA BE ASHAMED : PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON : DAMN GIRL! …Heard people yelling diff things @ me but I held my head up and kept moving. There were children there. I prayed they wouldn’t be traumatized,” she wrote.
“Funny thing is, the physical nudity is nothing,” Badu Tweeted. “I been naked all along in my words actions and deeds. That’s the real vulnerable place.”
So what’s the point? Combating “group think” and people who are “quick to assassinate what they don’t understand,” according to the mother of four.
The troubled country singer is getting all kinds of attention on the blogosphere this Monday – – and no, she hasn’t signed up for a new season of Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab. McCready is the latest in series of stars — such as Shauna Sand, Kim Kardashian, and Paris Hilton — having her intimate skin flick broadcast for the world to see. A sex starring and her ex-boyfriend “Peter” that will be released by the porn purveyors at Vivid Entertainment -– the same people behind Paris and Kim’s sex tapes — next month.
Baseball Mistress isn’t just an X-rated home video — oh no. Fans — you’re into this kind of think — are treated to lots of commentary from the once suicidal, former addict herself. In one part of the footage, a partially-clothed McCready chronicles her decade-long affair with married MLB pitcher Roger Clemens — who she claims suffered from erectile dysfunction — and actor Dean McCain, who she brands an animal in the sack.
The flick is slated to go on sale on Vivid.com April 19.
Chaz Bono has taken legal steps to become a man. Bono is asking a judge to formally change his name and gender.
The 41-year-old writer, activist, and former reality-TV star was born Chastity Bono, the only daughter of music legends Sonny Bono and Cher. He filed a petition to change his name and gender in a California courtroom last week.
A former employee of Heather Mills is suing the acid-tongued humanitarian for sex discrimination.
In a court hearing that got underway in London this week, Mills’ ex-banny argues that her former boss forced her staff to say positive things about her to a film crew, made her work long hours without any extra pay, and caused her to feel uncomfortable by moaning to her about ex-husband Sir Paul McCartney.
Sara Trumble, 26, says Mills became rude and highly irrational after she and the ex-Beatle divorced in 2008.
She also claimed the former model was unsympathetic towards her when she went through a difficult pregnancy, forcing her to accompany her on trips abroad.
Mills’ split from McCartney 2006 in a messy divorce in which she won nearly $50 million two years later. Some of the massive sum was intended to pay for a nanny for their daughter, Beatrice, but Trumble, says she was paid less than $500 a week for her round-the-clock service.
Trumble said she was horrified when Mills told a meeting of her staff that a new nanny would be looking after Beatrice and that Trumble would instead be a full-time housekeeper.
After four years with Mills, Sara believes she was ultimately fired after she revealed that she was pregnant. As a result, Trumble has filed a sex discrimination suit against Mills. She is seeking an unspecified sum in monetary damages.

Lindsay Lohan’s obituary has been prewritten in the event the former child star should die as a result of her hard-partying lifestyle and alleged continued drug use, according to a tipster at at least one popular US media outlet. With a history of substance abuse plaguing any chance she has of reinventing herself in Hollywood, “Is Lindsay Lohan going to be the next Hollywood casualty?” is a question Pop Culture Junkies have been asking themselves a lot lately.
News wires are so convinced that Lohan’s lifestyle will be the death of her, they’ve resorting to a controversial time-saving practice they implemented when Elizabeth Taylor began experiencing health problems in the 1980s, and as recently as 2007, after Britney Spears’ emotional breakdown prompted questions about her own future: getting together an obit.
“News outlets need to be prepared. However shocking a story it might be, they are in the business of breaking news fast and any preparation that can be done ahead of time is them just simply doing their jobs,” a senior producer at a major news outlet reportedly told PopEater’s Rob Shuter this week. “We all scrambled when Brittany Murphy and Heath Ledger died and don’t want that to happen again…”
Over the last few days, Lindsay’s seemingly endless downward spiral appears to have sped up. In just the past week, the star has ended up facedown in a bush, appeared in public dressed like one of the teen witches from The Craft, and was photographed with a mysterious white cloud puffing up from her Louboutins as the paps happily snapped away.
-Blossom’s coming to The Big Bang Theory. Mayim Bialik has been tapped for a recurring role on the hit CBS comedy series The Big Bang Theory. She’ll play a potential girlfriend for Sheldon (Jim Parsons) — a female nerd who he meets on eHarmony. Bialik will appear in the season finale May 24….
-Alyssa Milano’s new midseason comedy, Romantically Challenged, finally has a premiere date. The show will air after Dancing With The Stars on Monday nights starting April 12. The series centers on four friends trying to find love and happiness and stars Milano as a recent divorcee….
-Forget the wedding cake. Carrie Underwood says she will be serving cupcakes at her wedding with Mike Fisher later this year….
Wisteria Lane’s own Teri Hatcher will be doling out advice to women with a new site called GetHatched.com launching in May.
“I have a compelling passion to be a woman with other women. We’re the caregivers, the teachers, the lovers,” Hatcher, who stars as Susan Meyer on TV’s Desperate Housewives, says of her new venture.
DisneyFamily.com will produce the website, which will give advice to the ladies of cyberspace via a series of articles, blogs, and webisodes. Promising to dish the deets on “A Chick’s Guide To Life,” GetHatched.com will also feature “creative and editorial insight from Hatcher and a small team of contributors.”
In a new interview with Variety on Monday, Teri describes Get Hatched as “empowering” and vows that it will “provide, with humor, insight and vulnerability, solutions to the needs and obligations of today’s modern women.”
This isn’t the first time, Teri has taken up the crusade to become a modern day Ann Landers. Hatcher has published lifestyle-themed essays as a blogger for sites such as Glamour UK, Newsweek, and Modernmom.com. She is also the author of the bestselling book Burnt Toast and Other Philosophies of Life.
Rumor: We hear General Larry Platt will perform his viral smash, “Pants on the Ground,” during the ninth season finale of American Idol, airing live from Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre this May. Platt, a former civil rights worker, became one of the year’s biggest Internet sensations after performing his original song during Idol 9’s Atlanta auditions, which aired in January. Each year, American Idol wraps up the season with a big finale special that includes performances and appearances from the remaining two finalists, a host of celebs, and former contestants who gained notoriety after appearing on the show.
