Did you know that Tiger Woods and LeAnn Rimes once dated? Neither did we — but that’s the scoop hitting up the Gossip Wire this Wednesday.

The serial cheater went out with the singer-turned-actress “a few times” before she married her soon to be ex-husband Dean Sheremet in 2002, a source told Us Weekly Magazine this week. Spies say LeAnn’s now-estranged father broke up the romance because he thought his then-teenage daughter was too young for Woods, who is 7 years her senior.

“Tiger was really into her. He likes those blondes!”

As we all know, Tiger underwent sex addiction therapy this year after cheating on his wife with more than a dozen women. Rimes and Sheremet split after she had an affair with co-star Eddie Cibrian during the filming of Lifetime movie Northern Lights in 2009.

Dennis Hopper is knocking at death’s door: The cancer-stricken screen legend is reportedly too ill to defend himself in his nasty divorce battle with sixth wife Victoria Duffy , and doctors predict Hopper will never recover.

The 73-year-old award-winning actor filed for divorce from Duffy in January, citing irreconcilable differences. He later won a court judgement which forced her to move out of his Venice, California residence — the pair have been at war ever since.

“It is doubtful that Mr. Hopper will ever recover sufficiently to be subjected to a deposition,” read court papers filed by his lawyer Joe Mannis.

The Easy Rider star is believed to weigh just over 100 pounds as a result of his ongoing cancer treatment, but that hasn’t stopped Duffy from trying to bleed him dry, Hopper’s legal team claims. Hopper charges that his estranged wife stole some stealing valuable works of art from him while he was “extremely ill” and refuses to return them.

In addition, in a bid to end the arguing, Dennis has offered Victoria – who he married in 1996 – $5,000-a-month in spousal support and claims it is all he can afford as he has been unable to work and his liquid assets total just $300,280.

Victoria rejected the offer, insisting that her estranged husband is hiding assets.

More than 3,0000 young Bieber fans hoping to have their CDs signed by the rising young star stormed the suburban shopping center in a vicious stampede that sent nearly a dozen people to the hospital. With just 35 Nassau County Police units to control the crowd, things quickly spiraled out of control.

Prosecutors in Long Island say Braun endangered thousands of young girls to maximize publicity; Braun’s defense attorney says the manager didn’t break the law.

Cops believe they couldn’t diffuse the raging mob of teeners because a message from Bieber’s Twitter account urged fans to keep coming: “On my way to Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY to sign and meet fans! I’m pumped. See u there.” The officials insists Bieber’s people took too long to call off the event via Tweet — adding to the fracas. Officials also charge that Braun also prevented others from updating the singer’s fans.

Hempstead Police arrested Braun this morning and charged him with reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance. If convicted, he faces up to one year in prison.

An MTV reality star from the early 1990s has been hospitalized in San Diego after the vehicle he was traveling in flipped over on California’s Route 79 late Friday.

The Real World: San Francisco star Puck – whose real name is David Rainey – and his son were severely injured in a crash last week, TMZ.com reported Wednesday. Puck and his 8-year-old son were returning home from a fishing trip when Puck swerved to avoid hitting a deer and lost control of the car.

Puck — who appeared on 1994’s edition of The Real World — was reportedly trapped in the car, but was able to free his young son, who then flagged down help, the site said.

Puck suffered broken bones in both feet, his right hand, and his neck. He’ll remain in the hospital for another week or so as doctors treat his damaged his clavicle and sternum. Puck’s son reportedly suffered damage to his liver and bruised several internal organs in the accident. He is expected to be okay.

We’ve seen the last of Dr. Isobel “Izzie” Stevens. Katherine Heigl confirms her departure from Grey’s Anatomy in this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly.

Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes has granted Heigl her request to be let out of her contract 18 months early.

“I’m done,” Heigl tells EW in the magazine’s new cover story — on newsstands Friday. “We just finalized our agreement,” says the star, whose Jan. 21 appearance on Grey’s was her last. “Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on. It’s sad but it’s what I wanted.”

The 31-year-old has long been rumored to be searching for a way to check out of the role that won her an Emmy to instead concentrate on her film career. However, the new mom says she’s leaving the show for family reasons, opting to turn her focus to raising her young daughter Naleigh — who she adopted from Korea last year.

Twi-Hards have outdone themselves. DVD sales for The Twilight Saga: New Moon on their way to beating out those of the original Twilight.

On Tuesday, Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the sensational teen vampire franchise, reported that the DVD of the second installment in the series has sold more than 4 million units since going on sale at 12:01 AM Saturday, surpassing the 3.8 million opening-weekend sales that the first Twilight racked up last year.

That film went on to become the top-selling DVD of the year, with 9.2 million copies sold.

The third installment in The Twilight Saga, Eclipse, hits theaters in North America on June 30.

Golden Globe-winning actress Scarlett Johansson has issued a plea to a U.S. Congressman asking him to pass a new bill to promote healthy eating in American schools.

The Lost In Translation beauty recently shot off a letter California Congressman George Miller, seeking his support for the Healthy School Meals Act.

“I’m asking you to support the Healthy School Meals Act of 2010. It is our responsibility, as adults, to give school children the nutrients and vitamins they so vitally need, especially during school hours where their food intake may be monitored,” Scarlett wrote. “I am so thankful that the National School Lunch Program (a scheme to give low-cost or free lunches to school children) exists and helps children around the nation get enough to eat. But right now, many of the foods served through this program do not support children’s healthy development,” she added.

The Healthy School Meals Act of 2010, H.R. 4870, was introduced by Rep. Jared Polis of Colorado on March 18. The bill would reward school districts for offering plant-based vegetarian options and healthful nondairy beverages.

Has Scrubs finally flat-lined? According to series star Zach Braff, after nine seasons and two networks, the long-running spoof medical comedy is a goner.

Braff says the ABC series won’t return for a tenth season next fall: “Many of you have asked, so here it is: It appears that ‘New Scrubs,’ ‘Scrubs 2.0,’ ‘Scrubs with new kids,’ ‘Scrubbier,’ ‘Scrubs without JD’ is no more. It was worth a try, but alas … it didn’t work. zb…..” Zach announced on his Facebook page this week.

Questions first emerged about the future of Scrubs after longtime star Donald Faison signed up for a new pilot that will premiere next season.

Braff, who played Dr. John “J.D.” Dorian on the medical series, starred in only a handful of episodes this season, which attempted to reboot the show and attract a new audience by adding younger cast members.

Scrubs producer Bill Lawrence responded to the actor’s comments, saying that while the show “hasn’t been cancelled, we’re all just assuming it’s over.” ABC has yet to announce a final decision concerning the future of Scrubs.
