Ring The Alarm: Lady Gaga is bringing her “Poker Face” Stateside. On Monday, the pop star unveiled 31 new tour dates headed for the US and Canada. The “Telephone” singer will kick off the new leg of her North American Monster Ball Tour in Montreal on June 28.

The upcoming concerts promise to be “even more eye-popping” than her current shows, according to a statement released by Live Nation’s global touring CEO Arthur Fogel on Monday.

“Lady GaGa has set out to revolutionise pop music and with her new production she continues to do exactly that. We’re thrilled to take the ‘Monster Ball’ to fans around the world.”

John Edwards’ former mistress is getting a tough lesson in surviving celebrity after her racy photospread with the April issue of GQ Magazine hit newsstands on Monday, leaving the 45-year-old mother shaken with shame.

The campaign videographer who has a child with the former Democratic presidential hopeful posed in series of glamourous shots for the mag and spoke candidly for the first time about her romance with Edwards.

But Hunter was “in tears” when she saw the “repulsive” images of her that made it to print. According to Barbara Walters, who spoke with Hunter early Monday, the former actress “thought that having one of those photos was okay and would be sexy and that there were others that were just beautiful headshots, but that GQ picked photos to hit one note.”

It’s Splitsville for Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet and her director hubby Sam Mendes. The couple are calling it quits after nearly seven years of marriage.

Lawyers for the Oscar-winning actress, 34, confirmed the news Monday, calling the decision “by mutual agreement” and adding that it was “entirely amicable.”

Kate and Sam, 44, began dating after the actress split from director Jim Threapleton in 2001. She married Mendes on May 24, 2003 on the island on Anguilla in the Caribbean. They welcomed a child later that year; Sam and Kate’s only son, Joe Alfie Winslet Mendes, was born in New York on Dec. 22.

“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year,” their lawyers said in a statement today. “The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”

The conservative has not held a public office since losing his seat to Nita Lowery in 1988, but Kara is hopeful her dad will defeat fellow Republican challengers Bruce Blakeman and David Malpass in the primary.

An English man claims he passed out drunk while cooking bacon in his London apartment last week and rose to find the image of Jesus Christ etched in his charred frying pan.

Toby Elles, 22, says after he woke up to the smell of burning food and a smoke-filled apartment, he immediately raced to the kitchen and lifted the scorched bacon from the pan….that’s when he saw the “Christlike” image staring back at him.

The cast of Glee will pay tribute to burgeoning pop phenomenon Lady Gaga in an episode premiering later this season.

The music of the “Poker Face” hitmaker will be featured in an upcoming Lady Gaga/theater-themed episode of the campy, award-winning singing-dancing series, Glee creator Ryan Murphy revealed at this weekend’s Paley Festival in Beverly Hills.

“We reached out to Lady Gaga and she said, ‘Yes, I’d love to be a part of it.’ So we will be doing Lady Gaga this season.”

No word yet on whether of not the fashion risk taker will drop in for the big musical tribute — but one can dream! After all, the FOX hit has already attracted a bevy of guest stars, including Jennifer Lopez, Josh Grobin, Neil Patrick Harris, and Shannon Elizabeth.

Courtney Love has spilled the tea on the circumstances that led her to lose custody of her gutsy teen daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. The Hole singer claims she had a falling out with Frances after the teen punched, bit, and scratched her during an unprovoked attack last fall.

“I was talking on the phone. Frances came out of my room. She was hysterical. First she was crying at my legs, saying, ‘Why was I born?’ Then she bites and scratches and pulls on my hair. She punched me. I grabbed her with both arms. That left a bruise and she took a picture of her bruise.”

Frances, Love’s 17-year-old daughter with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, was placed under the temporary guardianship of her paternal grandmother and an aunt in December. A judge later slapped a banning order on Love, preventing her from contacting Frances until a further hearing in April.

Courtney now hopes she will have her daughter back in time for her 18th birthday in August.

The federal government and Toyota are questioning whether or not a 2008 Toyota Prius really sped down a San Diego freeway topping speeds of 90 MPH last Monday afternoon after investigators with the embattled automaker and government transportation officials were unable to make the car speed out of control as its owner, James Sikes, said it did on the California freeway last week.

The federal government said Monday that it cannot explain the alleged sudden high-speed acceleration that caused the Prius to race out of control for 30 miles before Sikes was able to come to a stop with the help of a California Highway Patrol officer.

In a statement Monday, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that it continues to investigate but adds “we may never know exactly what happened with this car.”

In the past six weeks, Toyota has recalled millions of cars because of floor mats that can snag gas pedals or accelerators that can sometimes stick. Sikes’ car was covered by the floor mat recall, but not the one for sticky accelerators. He later told reporters that he tried to slam on the gas pedal during his terrifying ride, but claimed it didn’t “move at all.”

In a revealing tell-all interview with GQ Magazine, former Edwards for President campaign videographer Rielle Hunter reveals intimate details about her affair with former Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards and claims that his terminally-ill wife of 30 years, Elizabeth, “emasculated” him.

Corey Feldman will not be in attendance at the memorial service for former ’80s child star Corey Haim in Toronto this Tuesday.

Feldman, 38, issued a statement Sunday night confirming that he will not attend the funeral service for his best friend of more than two decades out of respect for the Haim family’s wish for privacy.

“In the days following my best friend Corey Haim’s death, I have spent much time with his mother Judy, who has always been like a mother to me,” the surviving Corey said in a statement. “I would love nothing more than to be by her side at Corey’s funeral, however due to their strong religious beliefs, and need for privacy, the family has decided to make Corey’s funeral on Tuesday a small, private affair….. Understanding the recent media attention and to be respectful of the family’s wishes, I have decided not to attend,” Feldman continued. “Instead I will remain in Los Angeles quietly mourning and planning his memorial. As a sign of respect I am asking the media to honor Corey Haim by making the same choice.”

Haim appeared in a series of ‘80 cinema gems, like The Lost Boys and License To Drive, before seeing his fortunes fade to a crippling drug addiction. He collapsed and died in the Los Angeles apartment he shared with his mother last Wednesday. Investigators believe Haim’s death may be linked to a prescription drug ring operating out of San Diego.

City taxpayers will pay for the Toronto-born actor’s burial, according to his mom.

David Beckham’s dreams of playing in a fourth World Cup tournament looked doomed after suffering an Achilles tendon injury during AC Milan’s faceoff against Chievo on Sunday.
