  • “Telephone” VIDEO Banned By MTV?

All that Gaga touches isn’t gold, and the pop hitmaker’s “Telephone” is getting a dialtone from MTV — at least that’s the story CNN is telling.

On Sunday, the ratings-starved cable news network issued a report claiming “Telephone,” the popular video collaboration featuring two of the biggest names in music, Lady Gaga and Beyonce, has been banned by MTV for its “raunchy provocativeness.”

Are we talking about the same network that airs Jersey Shore?

MTV, on the other hand, denies that “Telephone” has been taken out of rotation. Network bosses promptly issued a series of Tweets ensuring Gaga fanatics that the video has not been banned from MTV:

“The report is false..we’ve been airing it on amtv since friday morning and we’re not douchebags (or sexist)….”MTV’s Manager of Programming, Tuma Basa, wrote on the network’s Twitter page early Monday.

Well, that about sums it up.

(We’ve been hard-pressed to take CNN’s word for anything ever since they fell for that 100-year-old Coney Island hot dog hoax last month….)

The extravagant “Telephone” video — an tribute to director Quentin Tarantino — premiered online on Thursday and by Sunday had already been viewed more than 11 million times on YouTube. In fact, “Telephone’s” already well on its way to surpassing YouTube views for Gaga’s popular “Bad Romance” video, which has been watched more than 140 million times since last summer.

Directed by Jonas Akerlund, who also helmed the Grammy winner’s “Paparazzi” video, the controversial new video begins with two bra-flashing guards escorting Gaga to her prison cell as an audience of incarcerated girls looks on seductively. The next nine-and-a-half minutes are filled with tons of profanity, nudity, murder, and mounds of product placement.

. How many products did YOU count? Here’s what we saw:

    – Wonderbread
    – Miracle Whip
    – Honey Bun
    – PlentyofFish.com
    – Heartbeats by Gaga headphones
    – Virgin Mobile
    – Diet Coke
    – Polaroi
    – The Pussywagon: The signature truck from Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill movies.

What’s your take on Gaga’s racy new video – Too Hot for MTV?

Attention All Promoters & Business Owners Interested In Booking The Cast Of MTV’s Jersey Shore: Jenni “J-WOWW” Farley doesn’t do Escalades!

Word on The Snitch Circuit claims the busty bike enthusiast scoffed when a limo company sent a Cadillac Escalade to transport her from her home in Long Island to the Estate Club in Boston, where she was scheduled to make an appearance last weekend.

“First she made the car wait 45 minutes. Then she told the driver she doesn’t travel in Escalades,” one tattle blabs.

The Estate Club — who hired the car company — promptly made arrangements for a limo to pick up the Jersey Shore guidette.

Let’s take it down a notch, Toots! They should have made her take the Bolt Bus to Beantown. Sounds like Snooki & The Gang are getting a bit beside themselves. Someone has the kids under the psychotic misconception that they’re actually going to be relevant two years from now. Imagine that….

Of course, not before telling everyone within earshot how much she hates the network.

She “stormed out, screaming I hate FOX! I didn’t know this was a FOX show,” a spokesperson for FOX told EW.

Word is NeNe’s still salty about a 2009 FOX Atlanta report that claimed the former stripper and her husband Greg are broke and were evicted from the ATL home featured on their hit reality series.

  • Corey Haim’s Death Linked To Prescription Drug Ring

Authorities in California believe the death of former teen actor Corey Haim could be linked to an illegal prescription drug ring.

The 38-year-old star of 1980s films such as The Lost Boys and Lucas was found dead earlier this week after an apparent overdose in the apartment he shared with his mother.

Investigators found no illegal drugs in the home, but they did discover four prescriptions for Vicodin, Valium, Haloperidol, and a muscle relaxant — all in Haim’s name. Cops now believe the illegal prescriptions could be linked to a local crew that has been writing phony prescriptions on stolen and fake doctor pads all over Hollywood.

“Corey Haim’s death is yet another tragedy linked to the growing problem of prescription-drug abuse,” says State Attorney General Jerry Brown, who recently took part in the investigation into Michael Jackson’s death. “This problem is increasingly linked to criminal organizations, like the illegal and massive prescription-drug ring under investigation. It’s a serious public health problem.”

Guess he’s seen the last of that vajazzled vajayjay!

Celebrity gossip gal Lisa Stanley of KEarth 101 broke the news on Thursday, when she reported that Kennedy was not present at Jennifer’s 31st birthday party last month.

Last October, the actress was forced to deny persistent rumors of a split amid allegations Kennedy was still in love with his ex-girlfriend, Shannon Funk, Britney Spears’ former assistant.

“There are people in your life who are just supportive and who just look at you and they see who you are,” J-Love said at the time. “And [Jamie] really saw who I was as a person more than anybody had ever done in my whole life. I think that’s for me when I sort of went, ‘Oh, wow.’”

Jennifer previously dated legendary lothario John Mayer and professional kayaker Brad Ludden.
