No brain hemorrhage nor hole in his heart could stop Bret Michael’s fight to win the third season of The Celebrity Apprentice.

Michaels heard Donald Trump’s coveted phrase em>”You’re Hired” after beating out 11 other contestants — including Darryl Strawberry, Sharon Osbourne, and Cyndi Lauper — to make it to Sunday’s season finale.

Michaels’ victory snagged $250,000 for his nominated charity, the American Diabetes Association. In second place, actress Holly Robinson Peete, who earned $250,000 her own HollyRod Foundation — which provides support for families with children facing serious illnesses.

Michaels, 47, the frontman of glam rock band Poison, suffers from diabetes and underwent an emergency appendectomy two weeks before suffering a potentially fatal brain hemorrhage on April 25. In an appearance on The TODAY Show Monday, Michaels admitted that he still isn’t “100%” after battling a laundry list of medical aliments over the past month.

Lindsay Lohan has gone on the defensive on everything from her fractured relationship with her father to rumors that she is back on drugs in an interview with Hollywood.tv — just hours before she is scheduled to face a hardnosed California judge in a long-delayed probation hearing.

An arrest warrant was issued for the 23-year-old actress after she failed to appear in court for a progress report on her probation stemming from two arrests in 2007, claiming she was stuck in Cannes because her passport had been stolen.

The arrest warrant was then recalled after Lindsay put up the S100,000 bond, she will now face a court hearing on Monday, where she is likely to be told to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet and submit to weekly drug tests.

It’s all a little “unfair” and “disconcerting” if you ask Lindsay.

“I don’t see what reason I would go to prison for. I have been more than in compliance with everything having to do with the court system. I would be done in two weeks and four days, because I missed one class (when) my uncle passed away. I stayed in New York to be with my family. I didn’t even go to the funeral because I came back (to Los Angeles) and did another class. I don’t see why I would have to go to prison and the only person who has ever suggested anything like that is my father.”

She admitted she was heartbroken she could not see her little brother, Michael Lohan, Jr., graduate from Ithaca College in New York last week.

“(I feel) upset. It sucks. It’s horrible. (Our relationship) is great. I’m proud of him; I wish I could be there.”

In addition, LiLo responded to the growing controversy over a set of snaps — which appear to feature the actress, straw in hand, sitting beside a plate of cocaine. Lindsay insists she did not know the other individuals in the photographs and therefore is not aware of what the powder substance could have been.

Fergie has admitted her finances are “under stress” after she was secretly filmed in a newspaper sting offering access to her ex for cash. In video footage released Sunday, the former royal appeared to offer to set an undercover reporter up for a meeting with Prince Andrew in return for the massive sum.

In the video, she appeared to accept a $40,000 cash down-payment after promising: “I can open any door you want.”

She has since apologized for what she called a “serious lapse in judgement.”

“I very deeply regret the situation and the embarrassment caused,” says Ferguson — who has two daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, with Andrew. “It is true that my financial situation is under stress. However, that is no excuse for a serious lapse in judgement and I am very sorry that this has happened. I can confirm that The Duke of York was not aware or involved in any of the discussions that occurred. I am sincerely sorry for my actions.”

Promoters of The Neverland Collection at The Tokyo Tower, the world’s only official Jackson exhibition, will mark the first anniversary of the superstar’s death by holding a sleepover in its shrine, museum curators told Reuters last week. Fans are scrambling to pay the $1,000 fee required to sleep on the floor next to Jackson’s things. On Jan. 25, Jackson fanatics will be selected at random to stay overnight on in the museum, which has been visited by more than 300,000 fans since it opened in the Japanese capital on May 1.

“The idea may sound a bit odd to Western cultures, but in Japan the tradition of being with the remains and possessions of passed loved ones on the anniversary of their passing is an important ritual,” says Hiroyuki Takamura of The Tokyo Tower.

Former American Idol pundit Paula Abdul is returning to the judges’ table — this time as part of a new primetime dance competition series on CBS.

The noted choreographer and former professional cheerleader will be lead judge, executive producer, creative partner, mentor, and coach on Got to Dance, a performance series based on the hit UK talent show of the same name, The Hollywood Reporter said Monday.

CBS suits are expected to announced the move this week.

The show — picked up by CBS in March — is billed as broadcast’s first all-ages, all-genres dance series — “from ballroom to break dance, bhangra to ballet, and tap to tango.” Dance acts will compete for a panel of judges, with viewers getting to vote for their favorites during the semi-finals and finals.

The gig is the singer’s first major role since leaving the panel of American Idol in the middle of a salary dispute with FOX. She was replaced by Ellen DeGeneres last fall, but is expected to appear on the show’s Season 9 finale this week to pay tribute to exiting judge Simon Cowell.

Glee has been greenlit for a third season on FOX!

The freshman show is still in its first season, but has already earned strong numbers for the network and spun off in the form of a live tour and a four best-selling albums.

“In just one year, Glee has transcended the television landscape and emerged as a global pop culture phenomenon,” Peter Rice, the FOX Networks Group Entertainment Chairman, told Entertainment WeeklySunday.

The Glee season finale airs June 8.

In conclusion, Michaels wrote: “I still love that damn woman so much, I’m still trying to stop. I had a dream last where honey and I were fighting and going to get a divorce, and I woke up sobbing…. then I realized. Oh. It’s true.”

The widower of Brittany Murphy, the actress who died of pneumonia last December, has been found dead in his Hollywood Hills home.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the property in the Hollywood hills shortly after 9PM on Sunday night, to respond to “an unspecified medical aid request,” according to reports.

Murphy’s mom Sharon called emergency services after finding the screenwriter unconscious in the master bedroom of the Hollywood Hills property where the Clueless star died in December. He is believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest, although Police Sergeant Louie Lozano tells The Los Angeles Times that the cause of death is still unknown.

“We have detectives at scene. They are conducting their investigation. Once we have further information, we will provide it.”

Monjack’s death comes just five months after his wife, 32, died in Monjack’s arms after collapsing in the shower last Dec. 20.

Monjack spoke of health problems in an interview earlier this year, saying he was taking a lot of medication. “Most of the drugs are mine. I suffer from seizures. I had a heart attack coming back from Puerto Rico last year,” he told The Daily Mirror.

Monjack — a British-born producer — married actress Brittany Murphy in May 2007 during a private Jewish ceremony in Los Angeles.

Bret Michaels cheated death itself to grasp victory on the third season finale of Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice on Sunday night. The rocker and reality star was hired by money-grubbing mogul Donald Trump itle after creating a fun Snapple ad campaign in the season’s final challenge, besting actress Holly Robinson Peete (Can’t stand her!) and winning $250,000 for his charity of choice, The American Diabetes Association.

Peete’s charity — benefitting autism research — will receive the same cash prize, thanks to Apprentice sponsor Snapple.

The victory comes at the end of a tough month for Bret. Michaels’ future in the competition had been in doubt since the Poison star suffered a brain hemorrhage last month. Then just last week, he began feeling numbness on the left side of his body and his face. Testing showed that Bret had suffered what doctors call a warning stroke. After the stroke added to the rocker’s laundry list of medical misfortunes, further testing also showed that Michaels has a hole in his heart, which will require surgery.

Lady Gaga has fired her security team after an overzealous fan jumped onstage during a concert last month.

Mini-Madge was performing in Japan as part of her Monster Ball World Tour when an audience member leaped over a security barrier, hopped onstage, and began groveling at the singer’s feet. Two of Gaga’s dancers dragged the fan away, but the incident left the pop star fuming and she wasted no time ditching her security detail over the breach.

A backstage spy tells London’s The Sun: “She couldn’t believe they could let these things happen so she fired them on the spot. She goes out of her way to make her shows perfect and expects the same from her people. Some thought she would calm down but she put them straight on a plane home.”

Meet the new high-steppers of The Pussycat Dolls.

The original Dolls lineup fell apart last year, amid allegations that group managers gave Nicole preferential treatement. In a bid to keep the PCD Train rolling, famed choreographer Robin Antin — who created the Pussycat Dolls as a Vegas burlesque dance troupe in 1995 — has added four new members to the girl group to back lead singer Nicole Scherzinger.

The new lineup will join Scherzinger in recording a new album later this year.

The five-piece performed together for the first time at a private party in Los Angeles on Friday.

“Last Night was perfection! NicoleScherzy (Scherzinger) was so incredible, sang her heart out! & DOLLS, you KILLED IT! Congrats!!!!” Robin wrote in a post to her Twitter page on Saturday.

According to tattling informants at Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills, soccer ace David Beckham and the couple’s three sons — Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz — presented the “spicy” fashionista with a Mother’s Day gift certificate worth $100,000.

LiLo is back in Los Angeles to face the music over a missed probation hearing, but the ex-Mean Girl is crying foul over controversial images that debuted online last week. Lohan — whose addiction to alcohol and cocaine sent the starlet to rehab twice in 2007 — says a new photo of her lounging just arm’s length away from what appears to be the highly-addictive drug while partying in Cannes is a “set-up.” Lohan insists that photos of her handling a white substance that looks like cocaine is a set up to sabotage her.

The phrase “Bitch please!” springs to mind!

In the picture Lohan, along with her friends, is seen having the white powder during a yacht party during the Cannes Film Festival. Lohan has defended herself, stating that stories which came along with the images circulating on the Internet are not true.

“That’s a set up, that’s so untrue,” the 23-year-old retorted Friday.

However, Lohan doesn’t have to worry that the photo will be used against her at an upcoming hearing for breach of probation. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Attorney’s office says the D.A. will not address the issue because there is no way to prove what is the substance in the picture.

Lohan star has to appear on court on Monday for the mandatory probation hearing she previously failed to attend after a “stolen/lost” passport left the actress stranded in the French Riviera.

According to friends of the surgically-altered reality villainess, Heidi has been secretly battling depression and an addiction to painkillers since undergoing more than 12 surgical procedures in two years. Paula Abdul and her spiked Coca-Cola cup will return to the American Idol stage for Simon Cowell’s series swan song, insiders tell PEOPLE Magazine.

According to celebrity weekly, former judge Paula Abdul will join the show this week for a “special send-off” to the departing judge. The rumored appearance will be Paula’s first on Idol since leaving the show prior to the start of Season 9.

She was replaced at the judges’ table by TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres last fall.

This week’s two-night season finale — airing Tuesday and Wednesday — will pit Ohio-born single mom Crystal Bowersox against former Chicago paint shop employee Lee DeWyze. The finale will also mark the end of Simon’s tenure as the show’s acid-tongued voice of reason. The Brit is leaving the talent show to launch an American adaptation of his UK talent hit The X Factor.
