  • Jamie Lynn Spears Bracing For Custody Battle With Casey Aldridge

Jamie Lynn Spears is bracing for a custody battle royale with former sweetheart Casey Aldridge. Spears called it quits with Aldridge — the father of her 20-month-old daughter Maddie Briann — earlier this year. She’s now dating Louisiana businessman James Watson, who is 10 years her senior. But the teen mom is worried about a future custody war with Aldridge as the 20-year-old Liberty, Mississippi pipe-fitter’s family encourages him to seek custody of little Maddie in a bid to get his hands on a piece of the Spears Family Fortune.

A source tells Star: “His mom was overheard saying that if Casey wants financial stability, then he should fight for custody so Jamie Lynn would have to pay him child support. His family told him he could be another Kevin Federline and rake in the cash by being a stay-at-home dad!”

Tabloid tattles claim Jamie Lynn is prepared to fight her ex at any cost if he demands primary custody of their daughter. In fact, the 18-year-old may even be willing to pay Casey off to keep him out of their lives. While Casey “isn’t big on the idea of a nasty court case,” the lure of Jamie Lynn’s millions may prove to great for the strapping Southerner to resist, says one tipster.

“…Casey is paying attention to his family’s advice, but he also feels that maybe be should just let Jamie Lynn and Maddie be. Money is a driving factor, and he’s weak when it comes to his mom and what she tells him to He’s really torn.”

White struck a Jimi Hendrix-inspired pose chatted about some of his favorite rock classic in the March 18 issue of Rolling Stone Magazine.

While many of Shaun’s Vancouver Olympics teammates were reggae fans, the snowboarder told the mag he’s a fan of rock classics, like Led Zeppelin, T. Rex, Rory Erickson, and The Kinks. Not on his playlist? Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.,” which one teammate would torture him with in the van at the Vancouver games.

  • Jon Gosselin Offered $20K To Get Naked In Playgirl

Sorry, Jon Gosselin, your peen doesn’t have six-figure selling power. The cash-strapped former star of TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 has been offered a measly $20,000 to strip down in an upcoming issue of Playgirl.

“We discussed it, and we’d offer him only $20,000,” Playgirl rep Daniel Nardicio told Life & Style this week.

That’s less than impressive, especially when we consider that the soft porn mag reportedly offered F-Listed celebrity baby daddies Levi Johnston and Scott Disick $100,000 to pose in nude pictorials. Although Playgirl reps declined to explain how they settled on the figure, rumors about Gosselin’s petite manhood are likely to blame for the lowball (No pun intended) offer. Last month, his former mistress Hailey Glassman publicly cracked jokes about the Octodad’s sexual prowess (or lack thereof) and quipped that he has the penis of a pre-pubescent boy.

It’s Dave Navarro….Pierced nips and all. The Jane’s Addiction rocker is the latest tatted celeb showing off his body art — and everything else — by baring it all in an ad for PETA’s anti-fur campaign.

“[S]everal years ago, I saw video footage of animals being skinned alive and screaming, and it, it honestly is the most horrific, inhumane thing I’ve ever seen,” Dave says of his decision to strip down for the controversial animal rights crusaders’ “Ink, Not Mink” collection. “[S]ome of the simple things you can do to help save animals is not buy fur, stay away from products that have been animal tested. It’s really very, very simple to just support something or buy something that doesn’t brutalize animals like this,” he adds.

  • Kim Zolciak Is Not A Lesbian

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kim Zolciak is not trading in Big Poppa for Big Momma. The roving cameras of X17 caught up with the wig-wearing mistress on her way to an appointment with celebrity hairstylist Kim Vo on Tuesday, at which point Zolciak assured them that she is not dating Sam Ronson deadringer, DJ Tracy Young — or anyone else with a vagina.

The reality starlet prompted rumors about her sexuality after she stepped out with Young at a party last weekend. The pair met when the mixmaster created a remix for Kim’s flopped single “Tardy For The Party,” but Zolciak insists the relationship is purely platonic.

“Tracy’s a great friend of mine… I take pictures with a lot of girls,” she said in video posted on X17 Tuesday. When asked if she was still with the married Atlanta businessman who finances her lavish lifestyle, Kim replied that she is: “….He’s doing great, it’s been on and off, and now it’s in a great place.”

  • Shannen Doherty Doing “Dancing” In Honor Of Sick Dad

Notorious diva Shannen Doherty is better known for terrorizing co-stars than she is for extending warm gestures to others, but the former baddie of Beverly Hills, 90210 decided to join the new lineup of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars to honor her father, who is recovering from a stroke.

The ex-Charmed star will put on her dancing shoes to participate in the upcoming 10th season of DWTS after turning down several offers to compete in previous years. Shannen says her severe stage fright kept her from signing up in the past, but she decided to accept the challenge this year after watching her dad Tom’s battle his way back from a devastating stroke on Christmas Day.

Shannen tells PEOPLE: “He lost his speech, he wasn’t mobile. He was really struggling, and still is. When I mentioned this to him, he got really excited, and he wanted me to do it. I thought, if my dad can fight through having a stroke and the loss of being able to communicate, I think I can do this for him. So I figured I’m going to get over my fear for him… I have a huge fear of live audiences. I break out in hives, full blown panic attacks, and everything else.”

While she doesn’t pride herself the most graceful dancer, the tough-talkin’ Shannen vows to do her best on the program.

“I don’t work out. I need to get my endurance up. I’m going to get in great shape, and everyone who I know who’s been on the show has had a great time. It’s with hesitation and fear, but it’s going to be good to conquer a fear.”

Shannen will face off against 10 other competitors — including The Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka, Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger — when the 10th season of Dancing With The Stars begins March 22.

  • “The Hurt Locker” Lawsuit — Iraq War Vet Jeffry Sarver Says Oscar Favorite Is Based On His Life

An Iraq War veteran is suing producers of Kathryn Bigelow’s Oscar-nominated film The Hurt Locker, claiming the war drama’s lead character is based on him and accusing filmmakers of cheating him out of “financial participation in the film.”

According to Reuters.com, Master Sgt. Jeffry Sarver., a bomb disposal expert, says the main character, Will James, is based on him and that James’ call signal, “Blaster One,” was his during his tours of duty. Sarver also says he coined the phrase The Hurt Locker. Sarver plans to file a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Summit Entertainment, who produced the film, in Detroit federal court on Wednesday.

Summit Entertainment’s issued a statement saying it hopes “for a quick resolution to the claims made by Master Sgt. Sarver.”

The company says: “The film is a story about heroes depicting a fictional account of what brave men and women do on the battlefield. We have no doubt that Master Sgt. Sarver served his country with honour and commitment risking his life for a greater good, but we distributed the film based on a fictional screenplay written by Mark Boal.”

The suit is just the latest bit of trouble for the critcially-acclaimmed motion picture. On Tuesday, producer of the war story was banned from attending the Academy Awards because of emails he sent urging academy members to vote for the movie.

The Hurt Locker is nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay, at Sunday’s 82nd annual Oscars.
