A current editorial in VMAN pays homage to the brand by mixing and styling pieces from past collections. The styling reflects the over the top identity of the brand with its many details, trimmings, prints, patterns, and more. Clothes are piled on models and even with this unorthodox way of putting on clothes for a shoot, the D&G aesthetic still comes out well in the editorial.

Chinese textile group Me & City is positioned to be the next H&M or Zara. With current sales only exclusive to the Asian market, Me & City are starting to expand their international reach. Targeted for the 22 to 35 crowd, the label hopes to garner more followers of the brand by putting international stars in their campaigns. Their current ads star Orland Bloom and Agyness Deyn in a campaign that shows us a fun side to the brand as well as their inspiration of the west coast.

Even the summer breeze at night can get you reaching for some kind of outerwear. Entitled MyMonogram, customers can now order their own custom template with colors and initials of their choice on all Keepall bags. The customization will last for only 6 to 8 weeks. It could be a trial run or just a special promotion, but this is surely one thing LV owners would love to be able to do.

South2West8 is rich in its outdoor and frontier influences. Filled with olive, green, brown, and blue colored garb, there is no denying that the influence of nature is infused in the range. There’s also a sense of tradition and historical value in the way some of the pieces are made. The way the garments drape on a person suggests old style tailoring mixed in with modern detailing. Parkas and outerwear are the pieces that are more modern, but other pieces such as the shirts, vests, and trousers suggest a style that reflects simpler times.

The site allows you to take control of the clothes on model Tony Ward, all thanks to the power of interactive technology. The site used digital film and cinematic special effects to present to its visitors a user friendly interface. It’s more than just a collection presentation but an interactive experience that allows everyone to look at the collection in movements controlled by the user.

For Spring/Summer 2010, Blue Bell showcases premium denims in extreme washes and clean rinses. There are also fitted chinos and destroyed denim jackets, as well as Harrington jackets, all styled and influenced by Western Americana in the 1950’s.

Swedish clothiers Filippa K takes the extra casual route for Spring 2010 with a bevy of basic looks. You can think of the collection as sort of an homage to a modern day Miami Vice with warm weather styles inspired by the scenes of the ever popular Florida city destination. Summer suits, shorts, lightweight cardigans, and tops keep the feel of the collection light and airy, while colors such as blues, pinks, and yellows give it that Florida vibe.
