You need that balance. Without Ying there aint no Yang. Where there’s George, sometimes there’s Tilda.” The collection is made up of knits, unique graphics, Japanese fabrics, shirtings, accessories, and more. • V Concept by Fabio Ferrante

    V-Concept-main

Fabio Ferrante is a young designer who began his work on the V Concept in September of last year. A product of the Polytechnic Institute of Torino and the Fiat Design research center, Fabio envisioned a car he would design for his girlfriend whose name started with the letter V. What came about for his creation is a 4 seater coupé intended for comfort, luxury and the pleasure of driving without forgetting the obvious sportiness typical of the muscle cars of the end of the 60s. Specifically, his designs pay homage to the Chevorlet Impala, which he thought he could reinterpret without actually “re-designing” or “retro-designing” the car. What he wanted to do was his own complete new version with elements of the Impala.

At a glance, one will notice the obvious “V” feature of the car with the shape of the side taking cues from the Impala. Another faithful recapturing from the old model was the rear window, which falls harmoniously on the tail end of the car and almost entirely covers it. In capping of the design, Ferrante wanted to make sure there would be a spacious surface. He wanted the experiences of driving the “V” to not just be about the driver, but also for the passenger.
