We’re not sure moviegoers asked for a second helping of The Klumps, but we may be getting one anyway.

It’s been 10 years since Sherman Klump — the shy scientist with a waistline the size of the equator and a heart of pure gold — battled the bulge on the big screen, but funnyman star Eddie Murphy says it’s never too late for a new Nutty Professor movie.

Eddie says he’s already written a rough draft for a third installment of The Nutty Professor — which would join a franchise that spawned Klumps-themed box office blockbusters in 1996 and 2000. The original Nutty Professor — a remake of the 1963 Jerry Lewis classic of the same name — and its sequel The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps were both a hit with viewers, each earning over $120 million upon theatrical release.

“You know what, there might be another Nutty Professor. We kind of wrote something that might be kind of funny. If the studios want to do it, we’ll do it. If you don’t see it, the studio was like, ‘This isn’t funny,’” Murphy told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson on Sunday.

Miley Cyrus is will on her way to replacing Lindsay Lohan as Hollywood’s proverbial unemployable, chain smokin’ trainwreck, if the predictions of Tinseltown bigwigs are to be believed.

Hollywood bosses are concerned the one-time Hannah Montana sweetheart is destroying future career prospects with a string of controversies. The most recent — a video of Cyrus giving So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Adam Shankman.

Earlier this month, Cyrus, 17, sent tongues wagging around the watercooler with her “Can’t Be Tamed” music video. Critics have suggested the vid — which features Miley scantily-clad and dancing suggestively in a cage — is too sexy for the teen star’s young fans.

“Everyone in Hollywood is worried that Miley is on the path to becoming the next Lindsay Lohan. It’s the oldest story in showbiz – when a child star grows up and loses his or her entire fan base,” whispers one unidentified Hollywood casting agent.

Glee star Matthew Morrison calls rumors that he is dating co-star Lea Michele “laughable.”

Last week, Morrison’s former bride-to-be — All My Children actress Chrishell Stause — allegedly told Star Magazine that she dumped the 31-year-old actor after growing suspicious that he was cheating on her. Stause’s rumored quotes set The Gossip Wire ablaze with whispers that Morrison may have been secretly hooking up with Michele, 23.

Morrison — who plays teacher Will Schuester on the TV musical — denies any romantic relationship with Lea, a Broadway alum currently involved in a steamy romance with a young theater star.

“It’s so laughable. There’s one about Lea and myself, and we were literally on set and I got a call from my publicist, and [Lea] got a call a minute later. And we looked at each other like, ‘What the f — ?’” Morrison told Parade Magazine. “And now there’s this one about my ex-fiancee going to the tabloids, which so isn’t true. I have a great relationship with her,” he explained. “I feel like I can handle this stuff because I don’t really care. I’ve never gotten into tabloids and I don’t really care about it now, but I just feel bad for other people in my life who are getting dragged into it. It just kinda sucks.”

Lindsay Lohan chucked a drink at a model last weekend….Well at least that’s one less drink that went down her throat.

Lindsay Lohan popped up in the gossip columns again this weekend after she started an alcohol-soaked throwdown with catwalk stunner Jessica Stam and her entourage at Manhattan’s famed 10ak Nightclub on Friday night.

The trouble started when New York Ranger hockey stars Aaron Voros and Sean Avery, joined by Aaron’s model girlfriend Jessica, had the brazen audacity to be sitting at Lindsay’s favorite table right in front of the DJ booth when she arrived for a night of beer-guzzling and table dancing.

The chutzpah of some people!

Being the big important star that she is, Lindsay threw a tantrum. The former big screen “Mean Girl” demanded that the three be banished to another table — or even a broom closet, just as long as they were ordered out of her seat, pronto.

“Lindsay threw a fit. There was total drama for absolutely no reason,” a stunned fellow reveller dished to The New York Post’s PageSix Column.

When barking orders failed, Lindsay told staff she couldn’t join the group at their table because Aaron was her “ex-boyfriend.” “I don’t want him anywhere near me,” she told club security.

…That’s interesting, considering the well-known NY sportsman said he’d never even met her before!

When the party refused to budge, things got tense. An enraged Lindsay threw her drink in Jessica’s face and demanded that security have the party removed at once. The club staff refused to kick them out (and amazingly didn’t kick Lindsay out either), so LiLo eventually grew tired of crying and stomped home in a huff.

This isn’t the first time Lohan has thrown a drink into someone’s face. She did the same thing to ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson just a few weeks ago and reportedly had quite a nasty bitchfight with Avril Lavigne at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood earlier this month.

Most recently, Linds and her entourage crashed a Iggy Pop concert in New York.

Perhaps someone should remind Lindsay that the year is 2010, not 2004 — therefore she’s no longer relevant. NEXT!

Cuban-American hip-hop star Pitbull is voicing his displeasure over an Arizona immigration law many Americans fear incites racial profiling by pulling the plug on a planned concert in the state’s capital.

The “Bojangles” hitmaker has joined a host of celebrities, including fellow Latin rappers Cypress Hill — who are protesting the new bill — which allows police to detain people they believe may be in the country illegally and calls for state residents to carry identification papers with them at all times.

In a message to his 33,000-plus Twitter fans and followers on Friday, Pitbull — whose real name is Armando Perez — explained his decision to sever ties with Arizona: “I am cancelling my concert in Phoenix on May 31… How is the country we enjoy and love bcuz (because) of its human rights, freedom, opportunity and that has been built by immigrants, now start 2 (sic) deny them?? …It is contradicting 2 everything the Usa stands 4 (sic),” he wrote.

Even President Obama is opposed to the Arizona law, which he believes threatens “to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and our communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe….”

In news that will surprise absolutely no one, Jonathan Rhys Meyer is still behaving like a drunken Lohan.

The Tudors star has been banned from flying United Airlines after his boozing caused mayhem on a flight from New York City to Los Angeles earlier this month.

Despite the early AM departure time, airline employees saw Meyer “pounding drinks” in the first class lounge, becoming drunk and disorderly, spywitnesses at John F. Kennedy Airport spilled to RadarOnline.com. Rhys Myers then attempted to board his flight but was prohibited from doing so by airline staff, who worried concerned that the star’s “belligerent” and “disruptive” behavior “was getting out of control.”

An official from United Airlines confirmed the scoop but refused to divulge any details.

Jonathan — as you may recall — has lengthy history of misbehavin’ in the friendly skies. In 2007, the repeat rehabber was arrested at a Dublin airport and charged public drunkeness and disturbing the peace. Both charges were later dismissed. Two years later, in June 2009, he was arrested after allegedly attacking staffers at a bar in Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Evan Rachel Wood — who’s Hollywood portfolio includes box office dramas like Thirteen and The Wrestler — is teaming up with controversial shock rocker Marilyn Manson (who just happens to be her fiance) to star in a big screen retro-slasher romp.

Wood and Manson will appear side-by-side in Splatter Sisters, a bloody ode to the horror classics of the ’80s, according to Variety. In fact, the film is the first in a planned franchise of “sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher” B-movies inspired by the campy slasher hits from the decade of shoulder pads and big bad hair.

“This is a role Marilyn Manson was born to play, and with Evan Rachel Wood bringing dramatic gravity to the ensemble, I have no doubt this will take the horror genre to a new level,” says David Gordon Green, who will be producing the Adam Bhala Lough-directed feature. “Adam has written a script that is terrifying and has a wicked since of humor. It finds inspiration in the horror classics of the ’80s but at the same time feels like it’s raising the bar and bringing an outrageously fresh spin to what’s out there,” Green adds.

“Dark humor will be doled out in spades,” Lough chimes in. “Indeed our intention is to take the audience on an emotional roller-coaster ride, from laughter to flat-out fear to sexual arousal. The film may one day be described as ‘Skinemax Cinema,’ a new subgenre inspired by the late night direct-to-cable movies of my childhood.”

Getting into exclusive nightclubs is no problem when you’re Lady Gaga (or even teen sensation Justin Bieber), but famewhoring Z-listers like Michael Lohan have a tough time getting on the other side of the velvet rope.

Despite sporting a tight shirt to accentuate his “bulging muscles” (Brain Bleach!), Lindsay Lohan’s headline-lovin’ pop — an alleged Born-Again Christian — couldn’t even crack the door at one of the newest lounges in Los Angeles, tabloid tipsters claim.

“Michael Lohan showed up to Industry in LA by himself on May 3 and was denied entrance,” an eyewitness cracked to Life & Style’s Scene Queens. “The doorman didn’t even know who he was!”

Out of work and off the Hollywood radar, is Paula Abdul strapped for cash? Tinseltown tattles say the “Straight Up” singer is demanding $3 million in advance to join the judges panel of Simon Cowell’s The X Factor in 2012. While Paula is eager to trade barbs with Cowell on the tube once again, she refuses to join the potential juggarnaut unless he forks over a few fistfuls of dough in advance, a National Enquirer insider claims.

“Paula really wants to reunite with Simon on his new show next year. But she thinks he needs to either put up – or shut up!” the tipster reveals.

Abdul left Idol last August after stalled contract negotiations with FOX. She was replaced by Ellen DeGeneres. Earlier this year, the star reportedly snubbed a deal to front a planned revival of the classic talent show Star Search over a salary dispute.

Cowell will leave American Idol at the end of the current season to adapt X Factor for US TV. The popular British series that catapulted international songbird Leona Lewis to fame in 2008.

Poor Sarah Jessica Parker — the gal just can’t catch a break. The quirky mother of three — beloved by women across the globe as cocktail-lovin’ designer shoe whore Carrie Bradshaw — has been snubbed by fans of Sex And The City, who voted her iconic character as the show’s least sexy female…

Kristin Davis’ conservative art dealer Charlotte York came in No. 1 in a recent poll conducted by Pincer Vodka to mark the May 27 opening of Sex And The City 2. Kim Cattrall’s aging maneater Samantha Jones finished second, while legal eagle spitfire Miranda Hobbes (played by Cynthia Nixon) claimed fourth place.

Even Pincer Vodka bosses were taken aback by the poll results. “We were stunned with the outcome of the poll and we suspect Sarah Jessica Parker might need more than one Cosmopolitan to drown her sorrows,” says Pincer CEO Jonathan Engels.

The Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag-produced reality series Fist-Pumping For Love is still shopping for a network to call home — and apparently one of Connecticut’s hottest nightspots doesn’t want anything to do with it either.

Once The Hills wraps up its run on MTV later this year, The Pratts will be teaming up with professional bodybuilder and Gold’s Gym trainer Emilio Masella — the former flame of Jersey Shore’s Snooki Polizzi — for the “guido-themed” dating competition.

Think Flavor of Love for the tanned and desperate. (Yep — it’s as bad as it sounds.)

The show, which is in pre-production, is casting ladies (We use that term loosely…) who will duke it out in a series of challenges in hopes of winning Emilio’s heart. But according to Life & Style’s Scene Queens, Masella may want to start looking for a new place to film his first foray on the small screen. While the buff hunk had hoped to film many of the scenes for Fist-Pumping inside hometown hotspot Shrine at Foxwoods Casino, management for the MGM-owned club has pulled out of a plan that would have pemitted the show’s cameras to roll beyond its velvet rope.

“We are not going to do it. We refuse to be associated with this show,” a representative for Shrine curtly told Life & Style last week.

Sounds like Emilio and his Skank Parade will be missing out on quite a party. A blurb posted to the club’s website describes a posh spot, catering to the well-dressed grown and sexy crowd: “At Shrine, you’re the Star. Unlike anything the area has seen before, Shrine combines a full throttle nightlife experience with Modern Asian Cuisine and Superior Bottle Service. Boasting a custom Funktion One Sound System, DJ Booth, Multiple bars and over 35 Private VIP Tables, Shrine is quite the stimulating diversion from other nightclubs in the rural hills of Connecticut or the East Coast for that matter.”

Sure she stumbled in her evening gown, but Rima Fakih — a stunning 24-year-old brunette from Dearborn, Michigan — made history Sunday night as she beat out 50 other women to be crowned 2010 Miss USA.

Rima, the daughter of Lebanese immigrants, is believed to be the first Muslim and Arab American to become Miss USA, according to her hometown paper, The Detroit Free Press.

“This is historic,” Imad Hamad, regional director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, told the paper. “This shows the greatness of America, how everyone can have a chance to make it.”

Fakih won the pageant — hosted by The TODAY Show’s Natalie Morales and celebrity chef Curtis Stone — after making notable impressions in the swimsuit, evening gown, and interview competitions at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Rima earned high marks from the eight judge panel — which included Olympian Johnny Weir and NBA hoopster Carmelo Anthony — when asked whether she thought birth control should be paid for by health insurance, and she said she believed it should. During the competition, Fakih nearly fell while finishing her walk in a long, strapless white gown that the beauty later admitted made her look like a mermaid.

Miss Oklahoma USA, Morgan Elizabeth Woolard, was crowned first runner-up and will assume the duties of Miss USA 2010 if the titleholder is named MISS Universe 2010 or if for some reason Fakih cannot fulfill her duties. Miss Virginia USA, Samantha Casey, finished third.

Rima is also the first beauty queen from Michigan to win the Miss USA title since actress Kenya Moore took the crown in 1993.

Alyssa Milano’s ABC sitcom gone up in smoke after just six episodes.

The Who’s The Boss alum was “shocked” by a recent Entertainment Weekly report suggesting her shortlived series Romantically Challenged had been axed after debuting to lackluster reviews last month, and commissioned her nearly 1 million fans and followers on Twitter to help keep the show alive. Milano and others affiliated with the series — which followed Milano, Kyle Bornheimer, Kelly Stables, and Josh Lawson as a group of lovelorn pals — also asked supporters to send photos of themselves with signs of support.

The show’s staff wrote to fans, “We wanted you to hear it from us 1st. We are heartbroken to report that #RomanticallyChallenged has been cancelled… officially.” And then, “We can’t thank you enough for all of our efforts in keeping us alive. We love you, #RomanticallyChallenged Army.”

By Sunday, the news was official: the online campaign to keep Romantically Challenged running was unsuccessful.

As recently as Friday, Alyssa insisted that ABC chiefs had yet to determine the future of her show, and took to her Twitter to blast Michael Ausiello — EW’s resident snitch on all things TV — who broke the then-unconfirmed news last week.

Milano wrote : “#romanticallychallenged I just spoke to abc. They say that no decision has been made as of yet. Either @MichaelAusiello is misinformed or his “insider” spilled before proper human contact was made between the network, producers & cast. Either way it’s not cool.”

Most touched by the efforts to save Romantically Challenged was the show’s star, Alyssa, who wrote a special message thanking fans for their support: “Your efforts on behalf of the my show has reiterated why I love my job. I hope you know that it is your faith and support that keep me going even in the hardest times. The words ‘thank you,’ never seem enough to convey my gratitude. Just know, from the bottom of my being, that you guys give me strength and I appreciate you.”

Mark Wahlberg is developing a gender-swapping, all-female version of his hit HBO series Entourage, TV industry tattles tell The Hollywood Reporter.

Entourage follows four friends from Queens, New York and their transition to Hollywood when one of them, played by Adrien Grenier, hits it big as a movie star. The series has become such a smash that Wahlberg, who executive produces the show, is now developing a spinoff featuring a group of four female friends living in the City of Angels.

Entourage — which features Jeremy Piven, Jerry Ferrera, and Kevin Dillon — kicks off its seventh season on HBO next month.

Ghost — the hit film which starred Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore as young lovers separated by a deadly robbery gone wrong — set for a Japanese remake more than 20 years after it first impressed American moviegoers.

The film, which won two Academy Awards including a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Whoopi Goldberg, is heading back to the big screen with an all-Japanese cast. According to TokyoGraph News, Paramount Pictures and Japanese film studio Shochiku will join forces to produce and distribute the Ghost remake — under the direction of lensman Taro Otani — for theatrical release overseas.

The project will begin filming in June and is slated for release next fall.

For the first time in recent memory, Justin Bieber is no longer a Trending Topic on Twitter.

Justin-related topics have trended nearly every day for weeks thanks to the teen star’s legion of devoted fans — but that could be about to change thanks to a new programming update that will revolutionize the way the site determine’s the day’s hottest topics. According to Mashable.com, the site has changed the algorithm that determines the Trending Topics — often indicated by a special hashtagged word or phrase – being talked about across Twitter.

“We have tweaked our worldwide trending topic algorithm to better capture the most emergent trends being talked about on Twitter right now,” site managers say of the change. But pop’s own banged sensation is calling the popular microblogging networking site out over the update, which he believes was implemented to silence the shouts of his fans.

“I heard you changed your system to stop my fans from making trending topics?? Really?? Where is the love??” Justin Tweeted to @Twitter on Saturday.

For its part, Twitter says the change is just business.

“@justinbieber the TT tweak is nothing personal. It was long planned & better shows what is emerging right now,” @Twitter wrote in response to Bieber’s remarks.

Twitter chiefs then directed the “Baby” crooner to this page explaining the Trending Topics takedown.

The gang’s all here: Just a few more weeks until a brigade of Manolos and Cosmos descend on the box office once again. Sex And The City 2 – the sequel to 2008’s hit chick flick — opens in theaters on May 27 and the latest promo poster for the eagerly-awaited film hit the blogosphere Friday.

Don’t get too excited — like its predecessors, the poster looks like something snatched straight out of the Little Shop of Photoshop Horrors.

But on a more positive note, this poster features the entire Fab Foursome: Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte. The first two teasers only highlighted Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie, so it’s nice to see the other ladies getting in on the action, too.

Jodie Sweetin — the now two-time divorcee who grew up before our eyes playing Stephanie Tanner on the ’80s & ’90s sitcom Full House –– is expecting her second child with a man she’s been dating for just a few months, The National Enquirer spills in its May 10 edition.

Jodie, 28, has blamed her recurrent addiction to meth and alcohol for fueling her divorce from second husband Cody Herpin. Now clean and sober, Sweetin’s managed to rebound with Hollywood DJ Morty Coyle in a whirlwind romance that has friends of the blonde concerned about her future.

“She split with Cody and moved in with her parents,” a family friend divulges. “She slipped back into the Hollywood club scene where she met Morty, quickly fell in love — and got pregnant. Now they’re talking about getting married.”

Morty and Jodie will welcome their first child together in July — much to the chagrin of Sweetin’s set designer ex Cody. He has a 2-year-old daughter, Zoie, with the former child star and although the exes have successfully managed to share custody in peace, Herpin tells The Enquirer that Jodie lacks the skills to remain sober while coping with motherhood.

As long as she’s off drugs and taking good care of Zoie, we’re not sure that what Jodie does with her personal life is any of her ex’s concern, but let’s hear him out….

“I’m totally disgusted with Jodie right now,” spits Cody, who just learned of Jodie’s relationship with Morty and her subsequent pregnancy a few weeks ago. “Raising a child takes a lot of time and patience. Jodie hasn’t put in nearly enough time with our daughter — and now she’s having another child! I find it hard to believe that Jodie will keep upher sobriety with the choices she keeps making,” he added. “To have a child with somebody is no small thing. Hopefully, Morty realizes having a child with Jodie is a full-time job. That’s something I had to learn the hard way.”

Lance Armstrong and girlfriend Anna Hansen are expecting their second child together — and the tot’s already got his/her own Twitter page!

The cyclist revealed the baby news on the celeb-driven microblogging site on Friday, with a post under the username @Cincoarmstrong. “I got 2 arms, 2 legs, a nickname, and [I’m] 2 inches long. See y’all in October,” the inaugural Tweet read.

“Getting’s today about someone I’m following, a certain @Cincoarmstrong. What to say? Yet another blessing in our lives. I cannot wait!” the 38-year-old Tour de France champ and testicular cancer survivor wrote on his own Twitter page.

The baby will join older brother Maxwell Edward, 11 months, and Armstrong’s three children with ex-wife wife Kristen – twins Isabelle and Grace, 8, and Luke, 11.
