  • Tropicana Resort & Casino Atlantic City Introduces “Jersey Shore Package”

Jersey Shore is heading to South Beach — but the cast’s culture of “Gym-Tan-Laundry,” has made a lasting impression of the good people of the Garden State.

The Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City has introduced the “Jersey Shore Package,” which offers fans of the wildly-popular MTV series the chance to recreate the same “high-energy nightlife fun” that reality TV’s famed guidos & guidettes experienced when they visited the establishment in an episode of the reality show that first aired last fall.

Priced at a cool $878 per night, The Jersey Shore package promises overnight accommodations, dinner at gourmet Italian restaurant Il Verdi, VIP admission to an assortment of AC clubs, and a gift certificate to the Tropicana salon, where a professional stylist will adorn you with your very own Snooki Poof!

For those looking for a more exclusive experience at The Shore, the resort is offering the “Very Important Guidos Package.” Book the room where Sammi slugged The Situation for calling Snooki fat for $4,230 per night.

In a press release issued last month, Tropicana President Mark Giannantonio says the resort regularly receives requests from costumers who want to stay in the suites the cast inhabited during their stay at the resort last summer, prompting the casino to create the new package.

“Let’s face it, the Jersey Shore reality show is a hot topic. We’ve received so many requests for the Jersey Shore suite since the episode at The Tropicana aired, we were inspired to recreate the fun with this package and help our guests enjoy a whole new energy here at the hotel.”

At least one group isn’t jumping for glee at the chance to channel their inner J-WOWW at the Tropicana. Andre Dimino, National President of UNICO, the largest Italian service organization in America and an outspoken critic of the successful reality series says he’s horrified by news of the package.

“They should be ashamed of themselves because of the damage they’re doing to our heritage and to young people effected by this. They’re just capitalizing and perpetuating the negative stereotype.”

  • Derek Hough Injured After Being Kicked & Cut In The Face By “DWTS” Contestant Nicole Scherzinger

Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger needs to work on her high kicks — unless she wants to send Dancing With The Stars pro Derek Hough to the emergency room.

The “Buttons” star left her DWTS partner wincing with pain after accidentally kicking him in the face during Scherzinger is busily training for her debut on the reality dance contest, but she nearly threw her debut into jeopardy after slicing open Hough’s face with a swift kick to the head, which narrowly missed his right eye.

Hough is nursing a laceration to the face, but the couple is expected to compete as scheduled later this month. Nicole will face off against fellow celebs, including Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, NFL star Chad Ochocinco, and reality mom Kate Gosselin, when Dancing With The Stars swings into Season 10 March 22.

  • Judge Alex Weighs In On Lohan E-Trade Battle: “It’s Ridiculous”

Lindsay Lohan’s “Milkaholic Baby” E-Trade lawsuit is still one of this week’s hottest scoops. It seems every celebrity stalker on the Planet has an opinion on the controversial actress’ $100 million faceoff with the popular Wall St. firm — even TV gavel-banger Judge Alex. Check out the lawman’s take on LiLo’s latest legal battle in this video from Thursday’s Good Day L.A.

  • Corey Haim Pulmonary Congestion Death

The mother of actor Corey Haim confirmed to Access Hollywood Thursday that the 38-year-old former child star died of pulmonary congestion. Judy Haim — who has spent the last year battling breast cancer — told the newsmagazine she received an early courtesy call from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office today and was told that a preliminary autopsy revealed that Corey had an enlarged heart, causing his lungs to fill with water and leading to his death in the family’s L.A. apartment early Wednesday morning.

  • Ryan Gosling, PETA Fire Off At McDonald’s Chicken Cruelty

Canadian-born actor Ryan Gosling is joining the crusade to save the cluckers of the world from becoming the main course in your next box of Chicken McNuggets.

The Oscar-nominated Notebook star just fired off a letter to McDonald’s CEO Jim Skinner — on behalf of controversial animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals — asking the corporate boss to adopt a more humane slaughter method for the chickens who are killed for the chain’s popular McNuggets. Check out what Ryan had to say:

    Jim Skinner, CEO
    McDonald’s Corporation
    2111 McDonald’s Dr.
    Oak Brook, IL 60523

    Dear Mr. Skinner,

I was shocked to learn from my friends at PETA that McDonald’s, a company that claims to be an industry leader in animal welfare, still allows its suppliers to use an outdated chicken slaughter method that results in broken wings and legs and causes birds to be scalded to death in defeathering tanks.

Many of McDonald’s suppliers in Europe already use a much more humane slaughter method that eliminates the worst cruelty. What’s your excuse?

Because no federal laws govern the treatment of chickens during slaughter, the responsibility lies in your company’s hands to create and maintain a high standard of animal welfare. I hope you will agree that the time has come for McDonald’s to truly take action to reduce the suffering of chickens killed for its restaurants. I look forward to hearing your decision. Thank you.

    Sincerely,
    Ryan Gosling

This isn’t the first time the screen hunk has used his star power to put an end to animal cruelty. Two years ago, Ryan penned a very similar letter to KFC’s Canadian headquarters, asking the company to update to more modern methods of slaughter. Shortly after, the fast food chain agreed purchase 100% of its chickens from suppliers that use humane slaughter methods.

  • Cast Of “Jersey Shore” Banned From Drinking

Forget the mojitos, break out some tap water: The hard-partying cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore is heading to Miami for Season Two and network executives want to be sure all seven housemates are good and sober when they descend on South Beach.

We hear MTV has banned the cast of its wildly-popular series from indulging any alcoholic beverages until filming begins on the show’s second season later this month. Jenni “JWoww” Farley made an appearance in Boston over the weekend, but much to everyone’s surprise, the reality starlet shied away from all of her favorite liquors.

“MTV doesn’t want [the cast] to drink,” one FOX News source snitched.

  • Billy Corgan Slams John Mayer For “Sexual Napalm” Outburst

Billy Corgan has chatised John Mayer for his infamous comment about sex with Jessica Simpson in the February issue of Playboy. Mayer became the subject of public scorn after he referred to the ditzy blonde — who he dated from 2005-2007 — as “sexual napalm” with a sexual appetite as addictive as “crack cocaine.”

In an interview outtake from last week’s Rolling Stone Magazine, Corgan lights into Mayer, arguing that the “Clarity” crooner should have “kept his mouth shut.”

“He’s trying to destroy his career. Rather than take a year off or change his musical direction, some part of it is irritating his soul to the point where he’s trying to blow it up,” the former Smashing Pumpkins frontman spat. “Certainly a talented guy, but empathetically, standing on the sidelines, it’s hard to watch someone literally burn their career to the ground speaking as somebody who’s done it.”

“I think for any person who has celebrity to sort of drop rocks at somebody else’s feet like that, there’s things you should really just keep your mouths shut on,” he adds. “There’s things that should just be left alone.”

  • Jennifer Love Hewitt Cast As Prostitute In Lifetime Original Movie

Jennifer Love Hewitt — the woman who turned “vajazzling vajayjays” into a national catchphrase — is set to play a hooker on TV.

Love Hewitt has been roped in to play a prossie with a heart of gold in a still-untitled TV movie set to premiere on Lifetime later this year.

“It’s sort of like Erin Brockovich in a brothel,” the Ghost Whisperer actress told TV Guide this week.

Hewitt’s co-star boyfriend, Jamie Kennedy, is excited about the actress’ new hard-hitting role. He can’t wait to watch the cutie flex her acting muscles in a pair of thigh-high boots: “It’s time for her to start showing everyone what I already know,” he added.

  • E-Trade Changed Milkaholic Baby’s Name From “Deborah” To “Lindsay”

Uh-oh. There’s been a new development in E-Trade’s $100 million legal battle with celebrity trainwreck Lindsay Lohan that could turn the tide of the case.

On Monday, the former Mean Girls star filed the massive lawsuit against the Wall St. firm, alleging a baby featured in one of their recent ads was modeled after her (Because apparently there’s only one Lindsay in the world…..) and the characteristics of the talking tot in the commercial were designed to poke fun at her well-deserved reputation as a spoiled fuck-up.

Here’s the doozy: A paper trail obtained by an Esquire reporter allowed to sit in on the the E-Trade Super Bowl ad in question shows that creators changed the name of the boyfriend-stealing baby from “Deborah” to “Lindsay” as they turned the innocent tot into a sleazy “milkaholic.”

Maybe she wasn’t crying over spilled milk after all…..

  • Heidi Montag Dumps Husband Spencer As Manager; Hires Psychic Instead

Heidi Montag is treating husband Spencer Pratt like her old boobs and trading him in for a brand new manager.

The top-heavy, brain-dead blonde has turned the managing of her career over to Malibu-based psychic, Aiden Chase. Somehow The Hills harlot has convinced herself that Chase has the mystical powers to turn her karaoke singing voice into something that won’t frighten animals and small children. Honey, he’s a psychic, not a magician.

“No longer is my husband the face of my business or managing my career,” Heidi tells PEOPLE. “I am going to have Aiden Chase help manage my new life and career in a very different and positive way with light and love. The time for change is now. Never mix business and pleasure. We are no longer Speidi but Spencer and Heidi.”

Pratt has managed the reality TV starring couple since the day they met nearly five years ago. Word on the Snitch Circuit has been atwitter with whispers that Heidi is falling for her plastic surgery and things are rocky between the young lovers. The rumors of a rift have grown stronger with Heidi’s announcement of the dissolution of her professional relationship with her spouse.

“After the incredible experiences I have had healing my life and truly connecting to my dreams with healer intuitive Aiden Chase, I have officially asked him to become my manager,” Montag told the mag. “Having an intuitive psychic leading my team gives me an edge no one else has.”

We hope that Aiden’s crystal ball shows him that Heidi’s 15 minutes of fame have officially gone on for 15 minutes too long. Next!

  • Richard Belzer, “Law & Order: SVU” Star, Accused Of Assaulting Woman

What’s up with Sgt. John Munch? Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Richard Belzer has been questioned by police in New York City after a Manhattan woman accused the 65-year-old actor of attacking her at an Apple Store on the Upper West Side.

This sounds like a case for Benson & Stabler……

Milan Agnew, a 21-year-old aspiring dancer and recent college grad, claims she was busy working when Belzer — who previously starred on the now defunct NBC crime drama Homicide — entered the shop on Wednesday, grabbed her by the shoulders, and shook and choked her while yelling, “I need help!,” The NY Daily News reports.

Agnew immediately called police and filed a harassment complaint, but she claims Belzer walked away with a slap on the wrist — this after reportedly telling officers he was “just joking.” Witnesses, on the other hand, say Belzer was behaving oddly in the moments leading up to the attack; with one noting that the TV cop walked in and out of the store and paced the block several times before “attacking” the store employee.

Milan’s grandmother, Anita McKnight, is livid the actor will not face any charges, telling the newspaper, “She told me, ‘Nana, he didn’t just touch me, he choked me and really scared me.’ My granddaughter is petite, just 5-feet-2 and she’s a dancer so she doesn’t have much body to her. Where does this man come off putting his hands on her?”

For his part, Belzer doesn’t get what all the fuss is about, saying simply: “Perhaps I shouldn’t have invaded her space, but it was clearly non-threatening.”

  • Daisy De La Hoya Was Secretly Dating Corey Haim

Eighties child star Corey Haim — who passed away on Wednesday — had been secretly dating Daisy De La Hoya, former VH1 reality star and the niece of boxing great Oscar De La Hoya.

On Wednesday, E! Gossip Guy Marc Malkin cited “a source close to De la Hoya” who says: “Their first official date was two weeks ago, but they’d been hanging out a little while before that. Corey invited her to the Playboy Mansion. Corey Feldman came, too. … Daisy knew Corey was doing a lot of drugs—especially prescription meds. She thought he was kind and talented, and she wanted to rescue him. She became his confidant over the last few weeks. He told her a lot.”

The former Rock of Love contestant confirmed the news in an interview with RadarOnline.com today:

“We just connected straight away, we had an automatic connection. I recognized that he was a lost soul, we had the same behavior patterns, we had a lot in common.”

Daisy says that the two were set up a little over a month ago by Haim’s old pal Corey Feldman.

“It’s such a tragedy,” she continued. “He was so talented and had so much to offer. He was a sweet, caring, respectful person who just wanted to be loved. Corey was looking forward to the future, he was making plans. He had a movie coming up and he was talking about directing, I can’t believe he would of done this on purpose, it had to be an accident.”

  • Amy Winehouse Clothing Line For Fred Perry

One of these things is not like the others: 1.) Fashion; 2.) Style; 3.) Amy Winehouse…..

Grammy-winning jazz/soul star Amy Winehouse has inked a two-year deal to collaborate with British fashion house Fred Perry on a clothing line that will debut in stores this October, Women’s Wear Daily said Thursday.

“I’m really excited about doing this collection with Fred Perry. We’ve been working on it for a while and it’s great to see it finally come to fruition,” says Amy, 26.

The notoriously unstable Winehouse has reportedly been working tirelessly with Perry on a collection that will include pieces from her “signature look;” such as twinsets, skinny pencil skirts, Capri pants, mini dresses. and polo shirts.

Crack pipe sold separately. (I kid, I kid…)

The collection, which will sale for between about $32 and $150, will be sold in Fred Perry Authentic boutiques as well as through select wholesalers globally.

Check out some of Amy’s sketches….Would you wear any of them?

  • Corey Feldman: “Haim’s Death May Not Have Been Caused By An Overdose….”

Corey Haim’s longtime friend and co-star, Corey Feldman, wants the public to stop jumping to conclusions about the actor’s death early Wednesday. Feldman — who appeared in eight films with Haim, beginning with 1987’s The Lost Boys — insists Haim’s fatal collapse might not be the result of an overdose.

“People need to stop. They need to stop jumping the gun. They need to stop saying it’s a drug overdose,” Feldman said in an interview on Larry King Live on Wednesday night.

“Until the coroner’s report comes out, until we have specific evidence, until we know exactly what the toxicology reports say, nobody knows. And nobody is going to know….. This could have been a kidney failure. This could have been a heart failure. This could have been a mixture of drugs, it could have been a cocktail that’s specific or it could also have been the fact that, you know, your body shuts down after years of abuse.”

Feldman acknowledges that his friend struggled with drug addiction for “his entire adult life,” but he believes Haim was doing better than ever in recent months; as he was determined to stay clean to support his mother, who is sadly battling cancer. The late actor’s “best friend and brother” also delivered an emotional appeal for Hollywood to better support its child stars once they’ve grown up.

“I’m angry. I’m hurt and sad. I appreciate the fact that everybody really cares and is trying to show their expression of sorrow right now. But at the end of the day Larry, where were all these people the last 10 years, the last 15 years of Corey’s life?….He didn’t even have a car.”
