  • Adrianne Curry Issues Harsh Warning To Addicts Following The Death Of Corey Haim

The death of actor Corey Haim elicited a strong reaction from Hollywood Tweeters on Wednesday. After all, many working actors in their 30s either grew up watching the childhood star’s arsenal of ’80s teen flicks, like The Lost Boys, License to Drive, and Lucas — or they knew the man personally. Of course, some celebs took a harsher approach in expressing their sadness over Haim’s passing of a suspected prescription drug overdose.

One star that would have been better off keeping her trap shut is former America’s Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry…..

Curry Tweeted at length about the alleged circumstances surrounding the Corey’s death this morning. Her comments really rubbed me the wrong way, but some of you may have a different take:

-”Corey Haim died. That is what happens when u cant grow the fuck up&kick the habit.sadly, most who start dont stop.A waste of beautiful life….”

-”Drugs dont kill people, people kill themselves w/drugs..party in their teens&continue2do so through their 20’s and 30’s, leading2death….”

-”it is a disease that addicts go into KNOWINGLY, as a former addict, I find it hard to feel sorry for those making bad choices…”

This is worse than the time she went on a tirade about Black History Month being racist against Whites.

Why can’t the pretty dumbs ones just keep quiet and quit fucking things up for the rest of us? You’re attractiveness goes down a notch each time you speak, Toots. And right now Ms. Curry is a solid 5. I understand the point she was trying to convey, but there’s a time for everything. Corey had friends and a cancer-stricken mother who loved him dearly, surely everyone can give them a few days to grieve quietly before getting comfortable on a Twitter high horse. Perhaps she didn’t have to be so blunt so soon? Just a thought….

Phase One was followed by an interviewed segment. Jungers wowed the Stern audience by dishing the deets on everything from the size of Tiger’s golf balls (Hint, Hint….) to what the supposed sex addict enjoys between the sheets. Jamie walked away with a cool $75,000 cash prize, provided by AshleyMadison.com, the website dating service that touts itself as “the place for Married Dating.”

The runner-up and winner of a $15,000 prize was ex-VH1 reality star Jaimee Grubbs — the brunette trollop who was on the receiving end of the golfer’s now infamous “It’s me, Tiger….” Voicemail.

  • Corey Feldman Remembers Corey Haim

The news of Corey Haim’s death shocked fans of the ’80s child star, as well as his celebrity friends who took to Twitter on Wednesday to express their condolences for the actor. One star left particularly grief-stricken by Haim’s passing is his best friend and frequent co-star, Corey Feldman, who woke up this morning to reports that his pal had died of a suspected overdose.

Feldman — already struggling through a bitter divorce with wife Susie Sprague — remembered Corey Haim in a heartfelt statement issued Wednesday afternoon:

“I was awakened at 8:30 this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door. They informed me of the loss of my brother Corey Haim. My eyes weren’t even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face. I am so sorry for Corey, his mother Judy, his family, my family, all of our fans, and of course my son who I will have to find a way to explain this to when he gets home from school. This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend. We must all take this as a lesson in how we treat the people we share this world with while they are still here to make a difference. Please respect our families as we struggle and grieve through this difficult time. I hope the art Corey has left behind will be remembered as the passion of that for which he truly lived.”

  • Corey Haim Suffered Flu-Like Symptoms Before Death

Generation Xers and Hollywood stars are mourning the death of Corey Haim. The ’80s teen idols died after collapsing in his suburban Los Angeles apartment early Wednesday.

An autopsy will determine the cause of death, but police and coroner’s officials tell Entertainment Tonight that Haim was violently ill with flu-like symptoms and taking prescription medications before his death.

“He could have succumbed to whatever (illness) he had or it could have been drugs. Who knows?” Los Angeles Police sergeant William Mann said. “He has had a drug problem in the past.”

Corey’s mom, Judy Haim, told RadarOnline.com in an interview this morning that she is battling cancer and “devastated” by the loss of her 38-year-old son: “I am a cancer victim and Corey was helping me at home. He was a good boy. I’m devastated by his death.”

Haim, 38, was made famous in a string of 1980s films including The Lost Boys, with Corey Feldman. Haim struggled with drug addiction for some time.

  • Dina Lohan Weighs In On Lindsay Lohan’s $100 Million E-Trade Suit

You knew it was only a matter of time before Mama Dina weighed in on Lindsay’s latest cry for attention. Lohan’s enabler mother Dina has backed her daughter’s multimillion dollar legal battle over an advertisement which allegedly used the actress’ name and poked fun at her well-documented history as an unstable druggie — branding the commercial “horrible” and “mean.”

    Cry us a river…..

Lohan filed a $100 million — Yep, you read that right: she wants 100 million smacks…..– against Wall Street firm E-Trade in Nassau County Supreme Court on Monday, claiming a “Milkaholic” baby used in one of its television ads was based on her.

The commercial — which aired during the Super Bowl and the Olympics — shows a baby boy playing the stock
market and apologizing to his girlfriend for not calling her the night before. The baby girl then gets suspicious about a rival baby, referring to her as “that Milkaholic Lindsay.”

Dina told The New York Post Tuesday that the 23-year-old former child star called her after the Super Bowl “extremely upset.”

“She said, ‘Mommy, help me. This is wrong. How can they do this?’”

Dina is adamant the commercial was aimed at her troubled daughter – insisting the name Lindsay has as much recognition as other single-word monikers, like Cher, Madonna, or Oprah.

“They’re little babies doing this, mocking another child who’s just trying to survive Hollywood, basically. I’m just basically glad I took a stand. I’m not going to let them do this to us anymore. Everyone knows Lindsay, like Cher or Madonna.”

It’s official: They’re both getting high! Do The Lohans not know how many twentysomethings named “Lindsay” there are walking around the Planet? It was only like one of the most popular baby girl names of the ’80s! Right up there with “Jessica” and “Ashley.”

Lindsay’s New York lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, alleges E-Trade used Lohan’s “name and characterization” without paying her or asking for her approval. E-Trade, on the other hand, claims they chose the name Lindsay at random. The star’s legal team is seeking $50 million in exemplary damages, as well as $50 million in compensation and an injunction to stop future airings.
